  1. Because you heard the stream and thought "Ehhhh, I should stop buying records before I hear some songs."? But yeah, sending you a DM.
  2. Really really like the new songs. I'm seriously looking forward to this. Have to get this along with those Hot Snakes and Frankie Cosmos LPs.
  3. I was just kidding. That guy should learn how to use the internet. Guessing there isn't going to be any pressing info. Mine came yesterday, in a mailer, inside a poorly packed bigger box, all fucked up. Ehhh, whatever, guess the appearance of my jack/dust sleeves goes along with the music contained inside now.
  4. Oooooofffff. Only way to get the color variant, which is not the most limited, is to have to buy a CD too? At full price? No Sleep doing big things in 2018. Doing the lords work in 2018.
  5. Assuming homeboy doesn't by a Target, right?
  6. Google bro. https://www.target.com/p/justin-timberlake-man-of-the-woods-vinyl-lp-target-exclusive/-/A-53228852#lnk=sametab
  7. Me too, actually. Would rather do a trade, within reason. Discogs profile in sig.
  8. You fucking know it!!! Elephant Gym LPs should be in and on their way soon.
  9. Super stoked to be able to release the first two tricot LPs, T H E and A N D, for the first time outside of Japan. First pressing of 500 each. We went a little crazy with the bundles, but give the people what they want, right? http://tpshlf.co/tsr_tricot
  10. Proud to announce the debut LP from Philadelphia's Queen of Jeans out March 30th. This is the first "new" release from Topshelf Records this year. Hope y'all dig it. We'll have another pre-order announcement later this week and a new singing/pre-order next week. "Queen of Jeans is Philadelphia dreamy crockpot pop. The music, lush in its retro guitar and ethereal three part harmony composition, is clever while introspective, sparking comparison to the likes of Roy Orbison, Cocteau Twins, and contemporaries Warpaint and Angel Olsen." http://www.getalternative.com/track-premiere-queen-jeans/ http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/609117
  11. I’d like to agree with you on this, but i think it’s very untrue. I’ve been across the US many many times and have found insane gems in record stores across the country. I found an original 2010 pressing of Fantastic Planet in New Mexico for $25 new in 2014. Or From Under The Cork Tree(og die cut cover) for $10 in 2012. I will agree with that list of stores though, all great.
  12. Been seeing this dudes name around for a bit. Finally have a listen and fuck this records great. I spent too much money already today, but I spent a bit more after listening.
  13. Me @ 8:00 AM: "Just got paid today!" Me @ 11:00 AM: "Fuck, I'm broke."
  14. Same. Stoked. She's coming through San Diego soon. Also stoked on that.
  15. http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/605916-topshelf-records-2018-subscription So we've had this up for a little bit, but I thought I'd post it here and give it some more shine. Thank you to everyone who participated last year and made it so great that we decided to do this again. We've already announced, and almost sold out of the first pressing of, the Elephant Gym reissues. We're announcing something else tomorrow that I know will really get people excited. Along with another announcement next week. We also have new music from Queen Of Jeans, Prawn, Ratboys, No Vacation and a few others coming out this year. We're really excited about what we have lined up and we're hoping y'all dig it as much as we do. We're about 1/3 of the way to getting subscriber exclusive variants for each release, so tell your friends and let's make this happen. Another thing we're doing this year. If you're already a subscriber, we're offering a "friend referral" bonus. If anyone subscribes and gives your discount code when they order, you both receive $10 credit in our store. The more this happens the more we'll hook it up. Thanks!
  16. Would be really stoked on the band just straight up booting it themselves and taking all the money.
  17. Nah fool, that was @phabletzza about 11 hours before your post. No thank you.
  18. Super glad to have been from/and still live in San Diego and have been around and become friends with John and these dudes. Great guys. Fucking legends. So so glad Hot Snakes are still a band. The world needs Hot Snakes(and RFTC).
  19. Have neither of you ordered records outside of the US or do neither of you have “translate” on your computer? It it was super simple and easy.
  20. Ehhhh I doubt it. Just order the fucking records. Seems like everyone else interested, did.
  21. Usually with a release that’s limited to 500 or less, retail gets kind of screwed on getting copies. I’ve also seen Midhaven/Revolver not be the best distro for a lot of bands. The cover for Smack Baby does look a little off. Failure style. Most major label represses I’ve come across have been this way. Not having the right files, which usually means not commissioned by the band, or shit got lost. Been 20+ years. And if Grass doesn’t get any money from this, good. Fuck them. They have enough Creed and Evenesence money anyways, they should have known to do this, and a fe other gems in their catalog, themselves.
  22. I love Rick’s art too. But it’s fucking Gar, surfing! Too good!
