  1. i'm not entirely sure who that is. or why her name would be a verb (?) She's a comedian who's got a show on E! (I think?) and oh yeah there's some news about her today: http://www.wwtdd.com/2010/04/chelsea-handler-has-a-sex-tape/
  2. what a shitty lottery prize. Haven't been Chelsea Handler'd lately huh?
  3. First of all, not that anyone cares but it's "Bucks". The "Bucs" play football in Tampa Bay. Second, yeah it's wierd but people have REALLY taking a liking to it including the Bucks players who tweet it regularly. I'm originally from the Milwaukee area and I agree it's very cutesy midwesternish. You expect them to break out into a "we've got spirit yes we do!" cheer or something.
  4. We are all here because we won the ultimate lottery.
  5. Travis, don't argue with a Boston sports fan. You will never win as they are blinded with fandom. I saw it firsthand by an old roommate of mine. It's an amazing sociological study as they are willing to throw out all rationale and reason in an effort to build an argument to favor themselves. Think of them like they are the AAU parents of sports fans. Now to the Lakers- Of course they were going to win last night. I think Reggie Miller was talking about the Cavs but it still applies here, "Cat playing with a ball of yarn".
  6. It's my first haiku First I have ever written Hope I don't screw up
  7. I popped into this thread for the first time and seeing only the first sentence to the last post I thought to myself "must be a Boston fan". Lo and behold....
  8. Their dry humor is one of the many reasons why they'll always be the best label out there.
  9. Go here to get anything you need: http://www.bagsunlimited.com/cart/browse.asp?subcat=29
  10. Me dressed up as King Khan on halloween on the way to the show with him and BBQ:
  11. Yup. That was actually a photo spread done as part of a study into the female orgasm. Neither of you are right. Those pics are all still shots from www.beautifulagony.com. It's a site where all the chicks masturbating are filmed from the neck up. Years ago there was a free porn site that had a bunch of those uploaded. I don't remember who my favorite was but she's definitely not pictured there.
  12. Yeah you have to trust Parcells as he does have the track record. Zac- I think if he's going to be successful in a situation, it's that one. If he can play Fisher will put him on the field.
  13. sometimes, some plants have on-site ability to do this, other places have it done for them by places like, but not limited to, Mastercraft. the whole process can be done by one company or by two...Aardvark Mastering, I believe(but could be wrong), plates their lacquers themselves. does this answer your question? Yes...Thanks!
  14. From Music Saves in Cleveland. GREAT store! 7" in the corner is a Pink Mountaintops I have never seen in a store before and the Obits I have tried to find in a store since last RSD:
  15. If you go to The National's website/High Violet page, there is a link to the map. http://www.highviolet.com/indieretail/ Also, I've ordered my copy of the repress of SSFDL. It comes in the original jackets (they found 500, hence the limited release for now) and with the poster. The difference is the record pressing (may be remastered) and label. PS: Here are pictures of the violet pressing of High Violet...wow. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=167433&id=45121499774&ref=mf Great link thanks. Colored vinyl is GONE!
  16. Got the rest of my RSD order in. Gotta love it! 7 inches LPs and a couple 7"s I forgot
  17. Boggles my mind. One of the great albums of the past 5 years. It bored me until I saw them and I realized how unbelievable it is. Give it another listen. I was at their show at The Bell House in Brooklyn after they finished the album. If you like The National, you won't be disappointed.
  18. There was two version of the BMSR record. One priced in the low $20's which was a single LP, the other "deluxe" one was $32, 2xLP, silver stamping, large poster. You are right...I was referring to the good one. Who deals with "low priced" stuff
  19. Never seen these until today. I will certainly be purchasing some of these.
  20. I went to a store that had the Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth records at 34.99 (most were around 22-24) but had BMSR at 29.99 (most were at least 32.99). I think everyone had a similar base price but if you know your stores you'll know how much they are marking records up in general. That's a good guide to figure RSD prices.
