  6. i love bvs. in a way i'm kinda glad they put out some amazing stuff and left quietly i guess. you'll never be like wow, they should have never put that record out or boy did they overstay their welcome. just put out some fantastic music and performed it unlike anything i've ever seen.
  7. I don't like your comparison Scott... That hurts. PS: Ryan Key is a tool. more like the vocalist of Logan's Loss...hell you might be? I really don't know
  8. i'm just bummed out because only recently did i get into this band. they might be my favorite current band out there anymore. so i completely missed out on the sink or swim vinyl.
  9. dude you just put a smile on my face. i'm so glad you liked it. i'm def enjoying yours by the way! are you serious about a live wire love affair? cause if so that's the coolest thing i've ever read...that's my band that unfortunately doesn't do much. most of us met in college and now we got members all over Pennsylvania and around NY. at this point the guitarists are still recording and putting stuff together and as soon as i can get a week off or so i'm gonna head up to long island and put down some more vocals. check out www.myspace.com/lwla. no vocals but it's that track and another. i bet these songs are 2 years old so they are pretty "outdated". some find musicians and great dudes. pm me with your addy...i threw away the envelope and forgot to write it down. send me it again and i'll try to get some more stuff for you (you def need some more weston)
  10. my girlfriend keeps calling me a nerd...but i'm totally ok with that and apparently so is she. i took her to a record store around home last weekend and spent a good hour and a half or so in there and she seemed to relatively enjoy herself. right before we left she found a brandy new against me! rar shirt for $5...apparently she owned one in college and someone "borrowed" it...to top it off a liberace record was wrapped up in it. haha yea dressing up for work is weird. i rock the shirt and tie daily even a lot of the company doesn't...accounting seems to be some of the few that do. it's weird...i get half the people who look at me like i'm a dick (or so i think) cause i waltz in out of college sporting my tie and having a decent job...the other half treat you with some kind of odd respect. its really interesting seeing people look at you when youre dressed like that out of work. the best part is i occasionally see coworkers on the outside and they talk an hour to figure out who i am because i'm dressed like a normal 23 year old orgcorer lawlz.
  11. wow did you see the stuff hes sold already? gold records from floyd, zep, etc. pretty crazy stuff
  12. for those who didn't see the email or might be bored like me... 20 cent ebay listings for today! i figure i might as well do some listing before bed. i need money from somewhere to feed the vinyl addiction..
  13. no offense to those that did, but boy am i glad i never ordered one. i'm sorry you dudes had to go through all that! that just sounds awful
  14. I don't know about top 10...but here's 5 of my favorite... The Monkees - S/T I must have listened to this album about 1,000 times when I was a kid Johnny Cash - At San Quentin Cash = the best, Cash live = can't beat it Digger - Monte Carlo One of the two most influential bands on the music I listen to today. Probably their best record Weston/Strychnine and the Rat Traps This green split 7 inch was probably one of the first pieces of vinyl I ever bought. Probably the reason I still am into vinyl now. This would be the other most influential band in my life. "Dinosaur" was one of Weston's best tunes. Small Brown Bike - Dead Reckoning what he said earlier...See You In Hell
  15. yea that was most definitely the end of anything good
  16. i won't lie...i got about a dozen from the 97 era
  17. i dig the tunes ex number five was great so i enjoy the reference
  18. sent out my money order for the new gaslight anthem...i cant believe it took me this long to get into them. i'm madly in love with their first album.
  19. Terrence the Bat FTW! ok yea...that's pretty awful. tip of the hat for them busting their balls though. maybe they really don't know how bad it is?
  20. there is really no rhyme or reason to mine. a lot of variety i'd like to think...pretty much took most of my favorite songs from my favorite or most inspirational bands. also threw in some releases from my label. they're old but have some alright stuff on them.
  21. Geert was hands down the best. I unfortunately only saw them once ever...sold out show at cafe metro in wilkes barre, pa. nothing i can say but just amazing and inspirational.
  22. momentumlost got yours today! didn't get to listen yet but it looks awesome!!! thanks alot and i'm real sorry i suck...i forgot. but it will be in the mail tomorrow i promise
