  1. i don't know who put digger but tip of the cap to you. love that band. first band in the umbrella "punk" labeling i ever got into. i'm still strongly considering getting a tattoo related to the band.
  2. i love ptw...one of the first hardcore bands i ever heard. i just did my FIRST vinyl collective order and put in for a coke bottle blue!
  3. don't worry...then you'll graduate, get a job, and then keep up the 'no money' trend because you owe so damn much for college! at least thats what i'm doing.
  4. january is the only cool month to be born...or at least april is the best time to reproduce. my parents must have thought so too . happy bday you cool cats
  5. so how come i didn't get on the list? i'd like to trade
  6. haha dude that's so awesome in a funny way...yea that was mine. my real bad (but much personally loved) high school band is on there too. i did that when i was 17. i forget the names of the people i gave that to - there were 2 kids who worked there that i always saw at breaking pangaea shows that i half made friends with. like it at all? lol
  7. you know rob a cha? he's a good dude. where are you from? i used to do a good bit of shows with fo a cha since they were from my area and they put a song on a shitty comp my diy label did years back.
  8. i could have sworn i saw that last night on the listening booths of "empire records" which was on furse

  11. $1.99 for cd or 12"? i got both and it might be the best purchase ever on a per dollar amount. "I miss myself more than anything"
  12. Fuck yeah! Dad rules! duuuuuude i could soooo go for a milkshake it would rock my socks off
  13. + having a beer for breakfast and tipping a cap to the replacements
  14. Good point. anti-flag was also labeled as "selling out"because they went to a major label, but they made the argument that at least they were able to get their message out a bigger audience. after all isn't that what's really important? i think it just bothers most people when it feels that you have such a strong bond with a band that you helped to support all those struggling years - and then they "blow up" and it's kinda like you're not so important anymore. maybe that's just it...we're a little too quick to try to try to keep something like that just to ourselves and not want to share it. it's music - i love it - and if going on a major label is what it takes to keep a band i respect alive well then more power to them. and hey wouldn't selling out actually be if you heard their songs in every chevy commerial and they sold their shirts at walmart?
  15. + it's friday...2 days of no work is always nice + got paid - immediately realized i have way too many bills to pay - stared at excel for "8 hours" - house is a mess from new years eve party...so cleaning it - everyone ate all my food and rank all my beer + but they left me 5 different bottles of liquor
  16. look into the young livers "the new era drop". it's wonderful
  17. I also remember reading quite a few interviews that he did a study of Kurt Cobain's writing style and used that to mold the green album and i'll assume afterwards. It does kinda feel like the music changed to a very set structure and chord styling.
  18. "Your myopic belief that No Idea is the number one collectible record label is really symptomatic of the problem I have with his board." I don't get the problem with the board? It makes sense to say that No Idea is one of the top collectible record labels. I think overall, people who are really into vinyl-have been for a long time. Chances are they probably grew up when vinyl was one of the main medias and they probably grew up with No Idea bands. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most collectors aren't out after fall out boy records. Though they are not a favorite of mine by any means, I mean no disrespect. It's just that the majority of their fans are much younger than HWM fans. They probably grew up knowing most only cds. Bands like those didn't start out their touring days pimping their first 7 inches. I'm not trying to start dumb fights or fuel them. Just some intelligent debate. Please feel free to add...after all that's why we come here: to communicate.
  19. they are the first band i ever fell in love with...in a completely heterosexual manner. the blue album was one of the life changing events for me. if it wasn't for that album, i prob wouldnt be here today.
  20. nooooooooooooooo!!!! just kidding - as much as i would like that...there is no way i can afford how much its going to go for that's the sad sad truth of the matter
  21. Double Decker is about 30 minutes from my parents house. Awesome place . I remember having to go there once because they were the only ones selling tickets to a digger show. mmmm....lehigh valley pop punk at its finest! i used to go there once or twice a year but have't in a few years. I remember being real excited somewhere around my senior year in high school cause i bought pink floyd's the wall (2xLP of course) for $1.00. It had such an amazing look to it that the cd just couldn't do. Maybe I'll try to get back down there next time I visit home.
