  1. You never know. If you are obsessive and want every color, then order now. If you just want A copy, then no worries. Awesome. I just want a copy so I'll wait for the HWM. Thanks!

  3. Var - how long do you think these will last? I just ordered the Latterman 'Turn Up' LP repress with my Bridge And Tunnel LP+7" and it already shipped. I might wait to order this one with the HWM 'Live In Chicago' 3xLP...do you think that will work out?

  5. I ordered both albums from Suicide Squeeze and got them yesterday. Both of mine had a big dent on one corner. Alas.
  6. From the April 11th email to the Weakerthans mailing list: "We are also working on the rerelease of our albums Fallow and Left and Leaving on vinyl out sometime this summer. Kind Regards The Weakerthans" That was the last I heard so I'm excited to see these coming out.
  7. There is a book store (with a small record shop in it) on N Craig St called Caliban Book Shop (the record shop is called Desolation Row) (and right across the street is a cool comic shop called Phantom Of The Attic if you are into that sort of thing). I like that place. A few doors down is Wicked Discs which has vinyl and used cd's. I've never found much that I'm looking for there. If you walk down Forbes towards Pitt campus, there is a place called The Exchange which has new and used music, video games, etc. Squirrel Hill (which is where Jerry's is at) is a further walk up Forbes the other direction (and it is up a hill). There is another location of The Exchange there. There is a nice CD and vinyl store in Bloomfield on Liberty Ave called Paul's CDs. It would be a long walk from CMU, but I live in Bloomfield and I walk over to Oakland all the time (it probably takes 45 minutes or so each way). Unfortunately most of the venues in Pittsburgh are in the South Side (Diesel, Rex Theatre, Club Cafe), the Strip District (Club Zoo, Altar Bar), or Millvale (Mr. Small's). If you can make it to Millvale though (which is not at all walkable), there is a great record store called The Attic there. They have a pretty good selection of new records and tons of used stuff. If you are looking for anything more specific, you need tips on other things (if it's your first time in Pittsburgh, you have to go to Primanti Brothers for a sandwich...there is a location in Oakland on Forbes), or if you need any directions etc., just send me a PM.
  8. Beyond trying Amazon and Insound (and at some point Man In Decline, Vacation Vinyl, and In Vinyl We Trust), it looks like the album is available over at Revelation (thank troymess for the tip): http://revhq.com/store.revhq?Page=search&Id=HH141
  9. On the original linked page (http://www.whypinkfloyd.com/), there are tabs for: * the Discovery editions (all 14 albums on CD available individually or as a box set) * the Experience editions (2xCD version of Dark Side, 2xCD version of Wish You Were Here, 3xCD version of The Wall), * the Immersion Editions (6 disc box set of Dark Side, 5 disc box set of Wish You Were Here, 6 disc box set of The Wall) * a new Best Of CD * the vinyl editions (Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall) I hope they release more vinyl reissues, but this reissue campaign was announced months ago (http://pitchfork.com/news/42471-pink-floyd-launch-massive-reissue-campaign/) and the details haven't changed. Maybe if the vinyl sells well enough, they'll reissue other albums as well.
  10. it needs a repress. badly. Vheissu and Artist In The Ambulance both need to be repressed. And maybe I'm the only one, but I passed on the Alchemy Index box when it first came out, but I would totally buy that shit now. I hope for a repress, but that one seems a little more unlikely.
  11. Same with me. I would love to see Animals and also Meddle. I have the 30th anniversary Dark Side repress, but I'll probably buy Wish You Were Here and The Wall.
  12. After the band announced these releases, I think I checked the Suicide Squeeze page every day for two weeks or so and the pre-order never went up, so thanks to derkwithano for letting us know that the pre-order was up. I hope I saw this in time to get the bonus poster and cassette, but either way, I'm just glad I was able to get both on 180 gram.
  13. I am so thankful I pay attention to the Vinyl Collective boards and people post stuff like this because I would have been so pissed if I had missed out on this. $16 definitely is way too much for a 7" but my man-crush on Ryan Adams overrides my concern for my wallet.
  14. As someone who missed out on this when the Kickstarter project was open, I was curious whether the 7" series would get a wider release so I emailed Chris. Here's what he said: "Hey Alan, it will be available in 2012 on Saddle Creek Records. CC" I'm looking forward to this!
  15. I saw Fallon hold a copy of the LP up last night and I immediately paused the DVR and went to my computer to see if I could find any info on a vinyl release. Needless to say, I might have a problem.
  16. After a few listens, the album is already growing on me. And I'm sure it has been said before, but the Polyvinyl pre-orders are so awesome. A full album download as soon as you pre-order...it makes other pre-orders where you wait months to actually get something seem absurd.
  17. I am SOOOO bummed out about this. I've been waiting all year for this repress. I hope it comes out at some point.
  18. As I told Troy, my LP came and had the misprinted tracklist on the back. I glanced at it when I opened it and I thought "that's not how I remember the album going, but I haven't listened to it in a long time". Once I put on the record, I realized that the tracklisting on the back was wrong. I'm just glad I was able to get a copy. The record sounds great and it brings back so many memories.
  19. Ordered. Best deal I've got in awhile. I'm so excited for this. Thanks!
  20. Did Barsuk recently repress this? It was out of print and hard to find for awhile. Well, I'm still willing to trade my copies or sell them for a fair offer.
  21. I have a couple of sealed copies of Death Cab For Cutie "Plans" that I am willing to trade or sell. They are 180 gram double vinyl. I will sell them for $40 plus shipping ($4 media mail in the US) or trade them for the following: Christie Front Drive - Stereo Minus The Bear - Highly Refined Pirates Gloria Record - self titled EP Gloria Record - A Lull In Traffic Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism Blacktop Cadence - Chemistry For Changing Times Twelve Hour Turn - Victory Of Flight Hey Mercedes - Everynight Fireworks Hey Mercedes - Loses Control Saves The Day - Through Being Cool Ryan Adams - Love Is Hell Pearl Jam - Vs. Counting Crows - August And Everything After Counting Crows - Recovering The Satellites Send me a message if you want to buy or trade. If you have anything on my list and you aren't interested in the Death Cab record, I might be interested in buying so send me a message. FYI, I'm new to the forum, but I have sold stuff on Amazon.com before. Here is my feedback there: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/at-a-glance.html/ref=olp_merch_name_13?ie=UTF8&isAmazonFulfilled=0&asin=0836213246&marketplaceSeller=0&seller=A2XKL86JRSI8MX
