  1. I actually just read Inhuman #1-8 this morning. One of the better Marvel books I have read in a while. I wish Joe Madureira would have stuck around for more than 3 issues though. Image really is putting out the most quality books these days. I've been buying monthly comics since the early 90's and I've never had as many Image comics on my pull list as I do now.
  2. Ramones live albums are always great because they play the songs twice as fast as they are on the studio albums.
  3. Blowing my mind seeing not one, but two people posting about how great the art is on that Blink cd. I must be missing something because to me that cover is embarrassingly bad.
  4. Agreed on Milligan's Hellblazer being lackluster. Azzarello and Carey's runs ruled. I haven't read much of the early Hellblazer books. I pretty much started when Azzarello did and bought it monthly til the end.
  5. May have been me. I sold my copy for like $10 on here years ago. I actually had it in a couple sale threads before it finally sold too. Was not in high demand at all just a few years ago. I had no idea it was worth more than that until just now.
  6. I don't get the crazy prices on most of the stuff this board is into. The one that really blew my mind though is Fear Before The March Of Flames - The Always Open Mouth. That record did not sell fast when it came out. I ended up with two copies at one point. Sold both for probably 10 or 12 bucks a piece. I guess I should have held onto them a few years longer.
  7. Really? I have received countless diy packages with very few problems. There are lots of ways to safely mail a record.
  8. Finally got around to giving this a listen. Good record! I like this one a lot more than their previous LP.
  9. When I hear "cheap 7"s", I think $1-$3. You are selling regular price to expensive 7"s. Some good deals on the LPs though. LOL at "dad's collection" spam.
  10. $15-$20 a couple times for early Pig Heart Transplant tapes. Have not seen them up for sale before or since. While I would not pay that much for most cassettes, it really doesn't bother me since they are full length releases. If they were released on vinyl or cd they would probably cost a similar amount.
  11. Cover art rules. I still need to pick up Year of the Dragon. Have all the rest.
  12. I dig that Ghost Bath album. Bummer that the cd is already sold out.
  13. Cool release. The cover art rules! Reminds me of the good ol' days when the majority of VC was into this music.
  14. Celebrated Summer is a really good record store in Baltimore. It caters more toward actual punk music rather than absolutepunk music though.
  15. Yeah, I agree with Tardcore. Leave the record and just go and have a good time.
  16. I've noticed a lot of newer tape labels selling different color tapes of the same release. This is a relatively new trend (or maybe I just never noticed before). Do you guys buy tape variants? Labels, do people order multiple variants? Not saying anything is wrong with it one way or another. Just genuinely curious. I've bought the occasional record variants, but never even considered buying more than one copy of a cassette.

  18. Even if he approves the tests on a better setup, dude still uses a crosley at home. Sound quality is clearly not a high priority.
  19. This demo rules for anyone who didn't check out the thread in the vinyl forum... http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/110510-hells-demo-members-of-orchid-transistor-transistor-psychic-teens-heathen-reign/
