  1. Whenever I see this from some new jack vinyl website, it immediately tells me that the site has nothing to offer me. IMO it's just as easy to search for a record on discogs and click "add to collection" on a mobile device as it would be to take a picture or scan a barcode and then have to verify that it is the correct pressing listed anyway.
  2. Eh, bubble mailer + cardboard sandwich works just fine for 7"s 99% of the time. Mine was in perfect shape.
  3. Cassettes are not a recent trend for noise/experimental artists. They have consistently had cassette only releases thru the years. The vast majority of cassettes I own are noise/experimental tapes or punk/hardcore band demos. Most of them are exclusive to that format as well. (or at least were at the time I bought them) I generally don't buy a tape if I can get it on vinyl or cd instead.
  4. At this point I still own all of Thou's vinyl releases. (not including comps) Was glad that this one ended up available online! The split with Great Falls can be pre-ordered here for US folks. http://www.erodingwinds.com/product/thou-great-falls-split-7/
  5. Sisters In Christ has the RSD exclusive Thou 7" up for order on their site now for anyone who was interested. *one per customer http://sistersinchrist.space/album/only-you-deserve-conceit/
  6. Profound Lore has the tape up for order on it's site now. https://www.profoundlorerecords.com/products-page/vinyl/prurient-frozen-niagara-falls-tape/ Limited to 300.
  7. I use comicbookdb.com to catalog my comics. I used to use comiccollectorlive, but I no longer wanted to pay for the catalog software. Comiccollectorlive does have a great marketplace though for picking up random issues. I have filled a lot of holes in my collection using the marketplace.
  8. I'm going to try to make it down to Philly for this.
  9. The song sounds a lot like Foo Fighters to me. I'm not into it.
  10. Was catching up on my pile of new tapes today and was completely blown away by the latest Hidden Persuaders cassette. I highly recommend tracking down a copy or listening to the bandcamp if you are even remotely interested in experimental/ambient/drone/noise/synth music. Best album I have heard this year on any format! listen here: https://agiantfern.bandcamp.com/album/elegies-and-curses Sick artwork also!
  11. I would think the packaging would be good on any of the formats. I am debating whether I want to get the 3xLP or 2xCD. I prefer the LP, but I like the CD price better.
  12. It is the tape. MC = Musicassette Hospital tapes are usually overpriced. Profound Lore releases are generally reasonably priced. It is most likely on one 90 minute cassette.
  13. Take the Tape Label or Weed Strain quiz... http://www.tabsout.com/?p=9235 My Results... 280 out of 420 points 66.67%
  14. I have Woods Of Desolation's s/t demo tape that I bought when it came out. It's not that memorable. Didn't listen to anything else until last year's As The Stars. I liked that album a lot! Don't start with the s/t tape.
  15. So what is the Vegas over/under for "still sealed" RSD Brand New threads clogging up the sales forum over the next year?
  16. Not a bad idea, but not into the look of it or the price. http://www.freeqbert.org/
  17. Don't want to order a one sided 7" by itself. Will pick one up if it makes it's way into distros.
  18. Add it to your discogs wantlist and wait for it to pop up for sale is most likely your best bet for a tape like this. I could be wrong, but I doubt anyone on VC has it.
  19. I'm sure your son will appreciate the task of ebaying/selling all those records, cds, stickers, etc...
