When I was little, it was ... Alexander Mogilny. But then he kinda disappeared and had a mediocre career. I've absolutely loved Chris Drury since his college days and was just mesmorized by his ability to score in HUGE games for the Avalanche. I was absolutely thrilled to see him come to Buffalo, and then a wee bit sad to see him jump ship for the Rangers. He's an absolute competitor... not the most skilled, but he never stops working.

I gotta put money aside for this... there's no way I'm missing it. I'll do the whole shebang for the new music I'll find.

Blah, that's the cheapest I've seen a "Good News..." go for in a while, and I almost had it, but was in a scramble because I remembered the auctions with literally less than a minute left and blew it bidding. I'm kinda pissed, but I keep going back and forth as to whether I really want to spend that much money on that album or not. It's probably better I didn't win it.

I managed to get a FC and WATT pretty easily last semester when I started taking records seriously. I had no idea they were tough to come by until the last few weeks.

All constellation's LPs are expensive. It sucks enough to have kept me from ordering the back catalog of Silver Mt. Zion, although I did buy Horses in the Sky and 2 GY!BE albums there.

^ I don't have a picture, and I'm too lazy, but I the one I have is really warped. I watch my records spin sometimes and see the arm move all the time, but this one had static and surface noise go along with every dip the arm made. The arm was all over the place, and it actually affected the performance of the record.

I got an album today that is hideously warped (although... it's a 2xLP and only the second disc is warped, oddly) and would really like to try and fix it. Is there anything that can be done? What do we think about throwing it under a stack of books for a while, would that do much?

I remember talking to them after TTTYG and they really, really don't like that release. I'd be surprised if you could talk them into letting anyone press it. They like to think their career started with TTTYG and ignore Girlfriend.

It doesn't sound too great.. a little flat to me, but I don't have a good system set up. That's not my big issue, it's that the inner tracks skip no matter what I do. It's the only record I have that does that for me.
