  1. Corporate and Personal taxes are essentially at their lowest rates since 1941. Income disparity is at an all time high. The middle class is quantifiably shrinking. But yes, more tax cuts are the absolute answer. It's the conservative robot response to everything. Since 1987 the rates have been relatively in line - happy with how this period which have seen the lowest American Tax rates have treated the middle class over the last 30 years? Or were you happier in the 50s/60s when "America Was Great" and taxes were nearly double and in some tax brackets, admittedly absurd, at 90%? I actually assumed "make America Great Again" was about going back to 1955 tax rates and rebuilding the Nation's infrastructure but it's likely more about the "Good Old Days that man would be carried out on a stretcher". Can't imagine what that might mean. It hasn't trickled down. It will never trickle down. The wealth will accumulate with the stockholders, not the stakeholders when left to the purest form of the market. That might be cool for a few people out there but with a shrinking consumer class everyone should be panicked. And in support of growing the American Economy I plan to hit a local theater to see Michael's new movie. Might inject some cash into the world by even buying some popcorn.
  2. I'll take the new Michael Moore doc on Donald Trump instead. At least I can laugh while thinking of all the delusional people that believe a man who has jumped is own manufacturing around the globe so he only has to pay workers 33cents an hour because the $1.30 in Honduras was too much will somehow grow a fucking pair and worry about them achieving the middle class American Dream instead of how he can make a few more pennies. OCTOBER SURPRISE!!!!! http://www.indiewire.com/2016/10/michael-moore-in-trump-land-donald-ifc-center-1201737657/
  3. Since you have applied a figure, please quantify your claim with a reliable data set from a reliable source. Until then I can attest that any reliable source I have seen continues to have coverage. If Trump ever freaking disowned any of his own actions or words, as Clinton has done time and again, half this stuff would be forgotten. Instead he feeds the news cycle with his own delusions and ineptitude. I remember in 2004 a bunch of folks saying "I am voting for Bush because I know what I'm getting". Well, we knew we had a President that sent to war in an unprecendent manner but we reelected him anyway. Then he tanked the economy and folks want to pretend like it was a surprise. We knew he was an idiot. Well, we know who Trump is too. He's a sexist, xenophobe who himself chose to have his own products manufactured in China and imported the steel for his buildings. He's never felt like a stakeholder in America - just in Trump. If that means making a few more bucks so be it. Is that his right, sure, of course. I'm a capitalist but I also believe that the President has to care about America more than themselves and he has never done shit for anyone other than himself. Plus four years of Trump Jr or Eric Trump is a pox on this world that no one should suffer.
  4. Another funny thing, I've read about them on CNN, NYTimes, Washington Post, Slate...the list goes on and on. That horrible liberal media you Trump Lovers pretend are sabotaging his campaign have openly reported on everything of relevance. His poll dip isn't for lack of information being provided it's because he is simply a worse human being than Hilary. She is no peach in my opinion but worse is worse. Keep digging and deceiving and believing whatever you need to but find some way to get back to reality after November 8. Cool?
  5. Funny thing, I've read all about them. That's how I can talk about the Podesta emails. Keep grasping for straws for why your pathetic hero is failing so hard.
  6. I can't help but laugh at the irony of cheetoh jesus dragging out Bill's accusers and they crying when his own accusers are. I assume now that orange glow to his skin is the result of how thin it is as opposed to some sort of tanner. He is the epitome of someone who can dish it but can't take it. The man is so pathetic it pains me to see that 40% of the voting populace alongside him either don't understand what consistency is or they don't care. It's also funny how he can't get out of his own way. The Podesta email dump is a bonanza and no one even gives a shit because the slime dripping from his lips has clogged their ears already.
  7. Daptone has up the pre-order for the soundtrack to the documentary about Sharon Jones. It's a career spanning mix that also includes the original "I'm Still Here" and her rendition of "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" from the film. If you are only peripherally familiar with the catalogue this is a great place to dive into one of the best things going in modern soul today. https://shop.daptonerecords.com/collections/bundles Also, the film is good. wink wink. Get the dvd.
  8. Harry Reid destroyed the Big Don: "I may not be able to see out of my right eye, but with my good eye, I can see that Trump is a man who inherited his money and spent his entire life pretending like he earned it," he continued. "In Searchlight, we learned a thing or two about hard work that Trump may not have learned at his boarding school. Trump rips off working people with scams like Trump University. And while the people he ripped off suffer, Trump sits at the posh resort he bought with his daddy's money, with no understanding of the misery he caused." Reid also knocked Trump's "Ponzi-scheme fraud of a ‘charity.'" "Why did Trump appear to use his charity to enrich himself and bribe elected officials who were investigating his scams? Why does Trump refuse to cut ties with business interests that would allow him to exploit American foreign policy to enrich himself? What is Trump hiding in his tax returns?" he asked in the statement.

  10. In truth I'd probably be on here more again if there was a KrishnaCore thread.
  11. Yeah man. I've been busy as hell with a movie in theaters and my dream project in contracts. Add on that I had significant hip surgery and I couldn't get to the second floor to my record player and well, this place didn't make a ton of sense. I see there are some new Blink 182 represses so really this place is like a time warp where very little has changed and carried on without my dour attitude just fine. I actually rent an office to one of a certain Toupee wearing candidates PR people. Pretty high up in that structure. At first I laughed about it. Now I just wait to corner him. A couple weeks ago I walked in and just said "What the FUCK! Steve Bannon? You going to launch some alt-right news network? Shit, man, donuts are only for democrats and independents from now on." Now, I love the guy, I don't get why anyone would put their talents in with that Basket but he did ask me later on if he could have a donut instead of just taking one. I laughed so hard. Yes, I let him have one.
  12. Gang, I've been really busy. No time to read the full thread. Anyone know who Tila Tequila is endorsing? My vote is swinging in that direction. Thanks in advance.

  14. Honestly, I never thought it a great idea to put 200-300 pound people on the football field at less than 100% mental faculties. I figure smoking weed and playing a physically violent game is a pretty good way to hurt yourself or make a poor judgement and injure someone else.
  15. Trailer since you mentioned the film. (I'm very proud of this one)
  16. My town's business development commission has declared Thursday Pokemon Go night. They are putting lures at all business related stops and encouraging folks to come to town and play. Kind of cool. they are having a photo contest too. I should put up the entry my son and I came up with.
  17. Funny. I am getting ready to sell my /100 copy. I offered it to a board member but didn't hear back. I'm glad more people will get their hands on it.
  18. You need to come to Manhattan. There are gyms all over. I just got to L5. I did all the legwork so my six year old can now play. I am fairly bored of it already but it's not meant for me anyway. He's jazzed to get his hands on it.
  19. Inside my office is a hot spot for Pokemon. Been telling friends to bring their kids by since there are 2-3 at all times and the restock the spot instantly. The best catch was a CP249 Zobat but we've had some other rare ones. There is simply too much in Manhattan, it made the game thrilling for a day and dull the next due to overabundance.
  20. Damn. I have tickets to see Hall & Oates in Holmdel but I would have absolutely gone to Camden too for free. This looks like it is going to take some serious work to use these things.
  21. I finally looked. I have 2 tickets for 14 events as well as like $50 in 2.25 vouchers. Now I look and there is shit in the NJ/NYC Area and under "Tri-State" they list Massachussettes. Ha ha.
  22. A few of you know what I do and I wanted to share the new film since it's appropriate to the board. Trailer came out yesterday and I'm insanely proud of this film. If interested dates/theaters are being announced via www.misssharonjones.com. If you get out to see it drop me a note - I love talking docs.
