  1. of course this will lead down a dangerous path.. where i'm going to need to hunt down a nice vintage pre-amp, and then save up for a new set of speakers... damnit!
  2. i managed a great deal for another one of these, and found a guy who does electronic, and cosmetic restorations on them.. gonna have a sweet pair of amps when this is all done
  3. acquire digital projector and a giant white sheet. play mario kart outside on the side of the house... magnified 2-3x life sized. this rules.
  4. the music buyer at the time for Hot Topic was a huge SHJ fan, and picked up a bunch of copies.. i'm actually kinda surprised any stores still had copies at this point
  5. as far as i know its not.. its like the one record of theres that hasnt been recently reissued
  6. ive been here since the first week it started... it was primarily org core & folk punk stuff from the onset.. and as vinyl became more popular there was an influx of all kinds of other music fans.. most of which annoyed the piss out of the original posters, and they all left. theres not many og members left these days
  7. kinda surprised it took this long, i heard about this a loooong time ago .
  8. First US Pressing Ever, and the previous euro press was on super flimsy vinyl back in the early 90's up now at www.asbestosrecords.bigcartel.com starts shipping late April. you're welcome.
  9. yeah you'll definitely need more than one pallet.. i think the most ive received on one was in the 2k range. also..its a little pricey but i'd suggest dropping a lil coin on dj road cases for your more rare/expensive stuff - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Odyssey-LP-Case-CLP200P-Carpeted-DJ-Vinyl-Road-Case-Holds-200-Records-LPS-CLP200-/290926767714?pt=US_Rack_Cases_Hard_Cases_Bags&hash=item43bc962e62#ht_4109wt_1109 i have a couple of these i use for festivals and they work great
  10. for some reason these got sent to me a few years ago in a box with the c/d side of one of the River City Extension records.. probably because they have similarly colored labels.. anyone interested?
  11. i really like the crylic platter, its kind of pricey but it does wonders for static, and it just really looks great on the black table
  12. I have an unused speed box s if youre interested.. I decided to just set up my second table for 45s
  13. ok from asking around.. assuming theres any issues with it, it'll be up to 400ish to get it 100% fuctional or $750ish to have it entirely restored both cosmetically and electronically... fully restored it looks like $1500+ isn't out of the question.
  14. really jealous of the shpongle collection, I'm hoping to see them in new haven in 2 months
  15. I have 2 set ups currently, with a bunch of other random shit laying around. my main set up is a technics table + a $20 preamp and a project debut carbon w/ acrylic platter through a tube box s and both run through a pro-ject prebox ds, and an amp box ds to a pair of focal 706v's (I believe) currently on the other its just an ipod+tablet run to a highe end denon amp with inwall speakers in two rooms, and out on the deck
  16. Yeah just figured that out... judging from all the online info ive found on it...this is a seriously great piece... so im debating selling it or restoring it and hunting for another one
  17. Went to go drop off a ton of unusable cardboard this morning, and drove by the "electronics drop off" shipping container.. as I went by I swore I saw tubes sticking up... went to investigate and found a McIntosh mc-30 staring up at me... looks to be in good shape... with just some blown tubes..gonna have a friend take a look at it
  18. this is a component one... a friend of mine used it to record off a board in his bedroom studio.
  19. have one im looking to get rid of for super cheap/trade
  20. for all your ska vinyl needs ---> www.asbestosrecords.bigcartel.com
  21. for the Gorillaz i think theres a 12" clinteastwood single too
  22. as cliche as it sounds.. "finding" a box of our OOP stuff is really quite common if you have a ton of shit thats constantly being shifted around. I know the bosstones just found a couple cases of Lets Face it, and some of that era's 7"s when they went through their warehouse... and recently i was just forced to move everything out of a spare bedroom i was using for storage for my baby's room, and found all kinds of stuff mixed in boxes, mis labeled boxes, or just things that were buried under stacks of other stuff.
  23. i have random rare copies/test/lathe cut for the Frank Turner/Franz Nicolay split if you need that one.
  24. Rare... shit i got three of 'em. unfortunately i've been sworn to never sell them. All i had to do was drive 1/3rd across the country and go to a wedding
