I have a patch on my jacket that says "D.F.F.L.". I tagged the band Dopethrone in it. The guitarist/vocalist ended up messaging me asking where I got it. I told him it was a 1 off but I could have one made for him. I ended up getting 3 made (1 for each member of the band). As a thank you I got a signed CD from them. After that, I talked to the drummer a bit. He mentioned he collected records. I happened to ask if there was anything he was looking for. Just so happened I had doubles of a couple. I ended up just sending them to him for free. He asked for my address so he could send me a thank you gift. When I got it, I opened it to find a test press to their album Dark Foil from Totem Cat Records. #3 out of 5. I was beyond stoked.

Thank you very much and yes sir. I flew over to the UK for Desertfest this year. They were touring the UK and their last stop on that tour was Desertfest. They headlined The Underworld on Sunday. The massive print above it is the print for Desertfest 2013. The stuff below is a photo from the show (Im in the 2nd row, not sure who took the photo, but thanks!) flyer from their UK tour, bracelet for my 3 day pass, and my train ticket from Guildford to London on the first day of shows. Kind of crazy the first time I saw Bongripper was in London considering they are from Chicago and Im from Des Moines, IA. haha. Off to see them again in a couple of weeks. This time I'll actually see them in Chicago. The poster on top of my Expedit on the left is the Sunday poster from Desertfest. Belzebong, Toner Low, Conan, Bongripper, Cough, and a few others. It was one hell of a day. Same kind of stuff for the Baroness and Sleep prints to the right. ticket stubs, photos, set lists, flyers, etc... Whatever I had from attending those shows. The Sleep show in LA was rolled into my honeymoon. Im lucky I have an understanding wife. haha

Reorganized my room. I have about 6 or 7 more prints/posters to get framed. Ignore the floor supports. I have a massive aquarium upstairs. Hid the CD's in the closet

This is the reason Im still holding off from ordering, I want a complete show, but I really want the vinyl.... decisions.

Got to see them at Desertfest this year in London. Had never given them a serious listen, but after their set I immediately went to the merch table and bought Abra Kadavar. Really solid album.
