  1. I guess they need to find some way of getting rid of this album. Blah. I think I have the red and the yellow for trade if anyone needs it. Comes with the cd and played once or sealed.
  2. I actually meant any color at half the original price. The original price was something like $35, so down to $30 isn't much of a savings. Especially because I could have bought the purple for $35 when I saw it. I'm not arguing that this TOTD is a lot of money, but I have been looking for sooo long that it is still completely worth it for me. Now, let's just hope the sound is good.
  3. You will be waiting a long time. If someone can point me in the direction of the Mother Love Bone for half of original price I would be amazed. Stupidly slept on that one and not making that mistake here.
  4. I just don't get why people don't like this album. I'm listening to it all of the time. Much better than Backspacer.
  5. My advice to anyone thinking of dealing with this company is DON'T DO IT. You are rolling the dice. You might get lucky and you might not. These fuckers are trying to keep the money for jerseys they apparently don't have in stock, but took payment and yet they list them in stock on their site. I should have went with my instincts and not ordered. Do not order from 2009jerseys.net.
  6. I've always meant to video it. Last year I played the classroom "Concubine", course I didn't tell them the title. A video will happen.
  7. Athletics! Not just saying that because they share the name of my baseball team. Post rock vocal bonanza. http://athleticsmusic.bandcamp.com/releases Completely amazed that they still even have this record available from the first pressing.
  8. Truth! Thank you for your order! You will receive an email confirming your order.
  9. Just did a "live chat" with SSD and they should have an announcement on their site in an hour or so about the details of the reissue.
  10. 1) What is your favorite Converge album? All We Love We Leave Behind 2) What is your favorite Converge song? "Dark Horse" You would think I would pick something off of AWLWLB, but this song just makes me go kookoobananas. I also play it sometimes in my classroom. Converge + 3rd graders = mayhem! 3) What is your favorite Converge album cover? Jane Doe, of course! 4) What is your best memory seeing Converge live? I've only seen them once and I was really tired that night (seems to happen more and more as years go by). With Bannon running all around the stage it was like a mainline of adrenaline and I was very close to getting in the pit. Frickin' amazing show is an understatement.
  11. Busted out at Bullmoose. Now giving Reckless a shot.
  12. I just hope you get your record soon! I feel the like big lights are just within their grasp. I'm not a Gaslight expert at all, but their records all pretty much have the same sound. I feel like they need to branch out and experiment and maybe even make a record that many of us would say, "This isn't a TGA record!" From that they could grow and strengthen their sound. Get Brian on the phone and let me talk to him.
  13. Yep. They said that they only got a certain amount and doubt they will get more. They're going to keep my order open for a couple days to see if one shows up. Not holding my breath.
  14. I got my 10c version today expecting the worst, but it plays fine. Sounds like there are some widespread problems though. That guy with the two b-side labels just got a collector's item .
  15. My order from Bullmoose is on hold. Looks like they oversold.
  16. Thanks. I went ahead and ordered that plainer than plain version.
  17. Damn you guys were so good tonight. Wish I knew you were going on early though. Two and half songs is better than nothing. Come back to Norcal soon!
  18. Shouldn't we NOT be using a discount code since this is for a charity and all? Anyway, I ordered one of each, no discount, hope I get these before Halloween!
  19. FIRST BASE 's/t' debut LP/CD (HZR-141) with FREE DownloadWait, is this a new band? We've positioned this incredible debut LP along with our Archival series batch for good reason, as FIRST BASE are one of the purest bands you're likely to come across, a true pop milestone so authentic and airtight, you'll swear you've heard these chords before. Originally one of the 'mystery bands on MySpace" from the mid-2000's, FIRST BASE released a string of much loved singles & EPs but kept a low profile despite being an active performing band in their hometown of Toronto, but it wasn't their intent to be anonymous. If you'll recall, they gained a wider appreciation after Personal & the Pizzas covered their iconic "Nobody Makes My Girl Cry But Me" which pushed them further onto the underground pop radar, and they returned the favor by covering " I Don't Feel So Happy Now" on their last EP. But affiliations aside, FIRST BASE are going to leave a deep scar on your world, and they'll be dumping sugar and syrup deep in those wounds with every repeated listen of this incredible pop debut. Like Jesus & Mary Chain fronting the Ramones, covering Joey Levine, FIRST BASE are pure honey-dripping salvation from the sadistic world we're trapped inside, a true ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day, just try to not melt away. -VictimofTime.com LISTEN to FIRST BASE 'Stranger' on Soundcloud RIGHT HERE Recommended for fans of Jesus & Mary Chain, Ramones, Nobunny, The Clean, Joey Levine, Romance Novels First 150 LP copies are Gold Editions, followed by 550 black editions. 20. It was at Eli's Mile High Club in Oakland. They didn't have a guitarist so NB "played" and it was a frickin' disaster. The band looked bummed. Some guys in the audience were trying to tune and played some song for a while.
