The first song, first 5 seconds starts skipping. I haven't even listened to the rest. With this first pressing it is all a crapshoot. My replacement copy looks better than my first okay copy, but it isn't. There are going to be so many shit copies out there in used bins and ebay and people won't know until they spin it. That's why I'm going to destroy this bad copy.

Got my replacement copy today, it is the exact same pressing as the first. I was lucky that my first copy was okay, because this one is trash. I was hoping to hear an even better pressing than the one I had. Oh well, I will smash this defective copy with a hammer so it doesn't create more disappointment in the world.

Went for a pink of Hollow Sunshine. They kinda have a mellow Guided By Voices thing going.

I will finally be able to get a copy of Reign In Blood? COOL!

In for another variant. I still don't know how I feel about this album compared to their first. Their first was such a ripper with all those Misfits style background vocals, I'm missing that on the new record. Only listening to the download and looking forward to hearing it on my turntable to fully experience it.

Just got an email back from them: "Hi there, Sorry for the delay! These records are FINALLY scheduled to arrive on 11/13. We'll be boxing and shipping them out ASAP! Best, Phil" I guess when you are Daytrotter in the "final stages" means two more months.

Where the fuck is this record? Did anyone get theirs?

No, I haven't, but I will check it out. My comment was mostly just thinking aloud. I feel like labels are riding this strange wave of soundtrack record buying and milking it for all it's worth. People seem to wet their pants for ANYTHING Mondo puts out. They make it such a collector's item and it doesn't come cheap. I wonder if in 20 years, people will be looking through the Goodwill bins and finding copies of Drive and Poltergeist instead of My Fair Lady or The Rose.

I wonder if 5-10 years from now, there are going to be a lot of people saying, "Why did I spend all that money on so many soundtracks I really don't listen to anymore?" I was excited to get the Poltergeist soundtrack until I listened to it and had to be honest with myself that I wouldn't really listen to it again. Packaging, color, and hype clouded my judgement.

They probably pressed high numbers for this pressing. I would guess this might be their largest pressing. Only a guess. Hopefully will leave flippers with a lot of records to try and unload.

HOLY CRAP! I got my box of insanity today(along with three other non-GF records) and I will be having fun for many weeks listening to it all. So glad I took the plunge and signed up for the club. I will renew again without hesitation. Thank you very much to Ryan and Olivia for all the work you put into this distribution of damn fine tunes!

Mine plays fine, some crackle here and there, but I went ahead and wrote for a replacement so I can compare sound quality. I would be bummed to find out that the new pressing sounds better and I was too late to replace mine.

FYI - 2009jerseys.net charge you an $11 fee per jersey and they don't refund you if they don't really have it in stock, even though it's listed in stock on their site. I am currently out $33 for 3 jerseys that they still list as in stock, but are out. Unless lemongoat is successful with filing a paypal claim this one jersey that I did get is going to be on the expensive side.

It's missing the letters that come from the board. I would put some sort of felt on the bottom of that though, as it seems like it might screatch the board as you slide it around.

I don't think I could even bring myself to listen to that. Love CCR, don't love that song. Hanoi Rocks did a good version though. I really don't have much hope for any good music from Mike any time in the future. I would be happy if he just did another country album.
