  1. Well now I feel like an idiot for buying the first "limited" version because the splatter seems to look cooler. Not buying another copy though, fuck that.
  2. I guess 4 years can go by kinda fast? Who is "they" and who is the "label"? Pendu put this out, couldn't they repress and make a buttload of money?
  3. Yeah, I know, but it's one of those collector things that don't make sense unless you are crazy. At the moment I am crazy. Hopefully I will come to my senses before someone offers me the no barcode one and I can buy the second pressing for less than $20. I'm sure Grime will be repressed and waiting would be the smart thing to do, because even the originals will go down in "value" when that happens.
  4. 11/10: High on Fire/Kvelertak A one, two punch. Both of these bands are high energy and put on great shows. I've never seen Pelican before and I would expect them to be pretty damn good as well.
  5. I am glad people are using LinkedIn, but I am biased because my wife works for them.
  6. Thanks man! Yeah, I don't expect to get it for nothing. Those prices on Discogs are stupid though. It's like one guy decided to price it insane and everyone else did the same. Just about double what they have actually been selling for on ebay. I have Pain and Unknown Rooms, so anything else is most likely a want. Hopefully someone will step forward.
  7. "Anyone/Anything" is a lot different than their other stuff in an awesome way. It's like pizza for my ears.
  8. I now have Pain Is Beauty and Apokalypsis. Need her other records, especially The Grime And The Glow. Looking to buy original near mint pressings . Would be up for cash or trade or combination of both. Lots of varied stuff on my tradelist. I can pay something close to what these have sold for on the bay. Prefer US sellers, but pm me and let's see what we can work out! THANKS!!!
  9. I would consider tests to be more important than comps, but then again it's all about how obsessive you are. Then you would also need tests of comps. Money pit!
  10. Variants, doubles, or things I don't listen to as much as I should. Lots of new stuff and old stuff. Everything in this list is for sale or trade. I prefer to deal with U.S. people because of horrible shipping prices. Look at my want list for possible cool trades. I also have other titles by similar artists that I might let go for the right price or trade. Just pm me. Thanks! http://deadformat.net/tradelist/lexicondevil
  11. If you're looking for great investments, I have some records that I would sell you that are very very solid investments. Call your broker and make sure it's very good okay.
  12. My wife went and saw Charles Bradley recently (I couldn't swing it on that weeknight) and she couldn't stop talking about how amazing he was. She actually brought him flowers and he started passing them out to the crowd. After the show he got off the stage and started giving everyone in the audience a hug. This guy just seems like such a genuinely good person, the real deal. I need to see him next time he is in the bay area.
  13. Completely forgot about this. Vinyl Order Update Our friends at Wolfgang's Vault wanted us to inform you that the Daniel Johnston / Into it. Over it. vinyl is in the final stages of being pressed and will be arriving in our warehouse soon! Once received we will be working as hard as we can to get these records out. Your patience is appreciated, and we promise you’ll be listening soon! – Mr. Daytrotter
  14. Want it, but not for $40 shipped. I honestly haven't really gotten into this record yet. It's not like the first time I listened to A Determinism of Morality and kept it on repeat. Just going to wait for the US version when it is someday released. I wonder why they're not releasing through Cavity?
  15. Your list is insane. All those Gaslight tests are making my head spin!
  16. That's pretty interesting that David Chang is on there. I wonder if it will make me hungry?
  17. In for Oakland. Really looking forward to finally seeing Restorations live. Bring some cool shirts.
  18. Yeah the art hooked me in for a listen. The demo on their bandcamp is okay, but the full stream of their ep is pretty damn good. Now I need a shirt of that hellbear. *EDIT- Looks like they now have the EP on their Bandcamp for Name Your Price.
  19. Cool stuff. Limited to 250 on blood red splatter. A/V Experience Some Lunchtime Chaos With This HELLBEAR Exclusive EP Stream Posted by Frank Injection on September 3, 2013 Hellbear is a great new project which features Harrison Christy (ex-Psyopus) and Rob Skotis (Iron Reagan). The band are about to release a completely raw and in your face self titled EP on September 11, which will be available on vinyl through Fake Art Fake Music, as well as digitally on their Bandcamp page for free.
  20. Out of all the Converge albums that I have(most not all though) this is my favorite. Seems like a lot of people favor Axe To Fall or Jane Doe, but this one is the most fully developed and contains all the best parts of all of their albums that I have heard. It did take me a bunch of listens to fully make me realize how damn great this record is. If any of you don't have this yet, order it with the next preorder and you will be happy.
  21. Remember when everyone was wetting themselves over this record? I still am and also hoping for another west coast tour. End of cool story.
  22. Giving this another listen and it's starting to grow on me. I would still rather listen to these artists separately, but this is interesting.
  23. I really like both of these artists/groups separately. On first listen, I'm not so sure it's working together, for me. If it gets people to discover the other artist's material that they hadn't listened to before, then it is a success.
