  1. This guy is such a pretentious asshole. If he'd just admit he sucks at running a label it wouldn't be so bad but the fact that he thinks he's god's gift to the vinyl industry is ridiculous. Remember the I Can Make A Mess... 'Gold Rush' cluster? The one where it didn't ship for months after the release date AND the variants were nothing like what was described for sale on the site? Dude didn't even apologize. Fool me once, though--now this guy has done it twice.
  2. Hey Travis it's my birthday too, glad to see the birthday of champions has worthy inductees. Happy birthday dude. I'll never cease getting stoked when I see you start a new topic.
  3. I use this often. Just be careful, like any credit card it can get out of hand quickly. ESPECIALLY since there is no physical portion to it. What I do is use it for big purchases so I get the six months to pay, then make 3-4 times the minimum payment every month so it's less money over a longer period of time, which is easier for me to manage, but then don't risk hitting that six month mark because it's paid off at two or three.
  4. I got The Smiths Complete, Temper Trap's self-titled, and the remastered Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Needless to say, the day was actually filled with infinite happiness.
  5. I don't post a whole lot but I'm also an avid collector... always been jealous of you, serravalle and makeshiftrigger.
  6. Yeah, I wish he still paid as much attention to Steel Train as he used to, Trampoline and their self-titled are two of my favorite discs ever. Speaking of, they really should press Trampoline, I would buy a million copies. Pumped anyway for this to be repressed. Luckily I got in on Dog Problems while it was still relatively cheap--maybe this will perpetuate other The Format pressings like others have mentioned.
  7. Bad times. What's the point of a red and green record after Christmas?
  8. I love that litho but definitely not $70 love. I'll be picking up the deluxe from Amazon. Looks pretty.
  9. Thank you so much for the Maple Music link, I overslept this morning and my heart dropped when I saw they were unavailable.
  10. Being a City & Colour collector is tough on the wallet. But so pretty. I am sosososososo excited for the Alexisonfire box set! awwww yissssssss
  11. Hell or High Water PLEASE. Happy to have grabbed a split while it lasted.
  12. Hey y'all, I really don't post often AT ALL but I've been creepin' 'round these parts fror a couple of years now. Here's some basic shinfo: Name's Brandon, I live in Tucson, Arizona. I like to read--mostly comedy, like books by Adam Carolla and Michael Ian Black, etc.-- but I've just started to read On The Road and I'm digging it so far. I don't have cable so I don't watch a whole lot of TV but I always manage to stay up-to-date with 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, Community, Modern Family, New Girl, Wilfred, Mad Men, and Up All Night. I loved Arrested Development and Weeds when they were on as well. Movies probably take the smallest slice of my life's pie chart, but I adore Wes Anderson movies although I don't own any. No Country For Old Men, Zoolander, Dumb and Dumber, and 500 Days of Summer are some of my favorite films. Obviously I love music. City and Colour, Circa Survive, Death Cab for Cutie, Mutemath, P.O.S, Silversun Pickups, fun., Good Old War, and The Mars Volta are some of my loves. As far as vinyl is concerned, I'm aching to complete my City and Colour collection and everything else I just kinda buy as I see fit. I'm not into sports at all, so that's probably the easiest off-limits as far as I'm concerned haha. I do have waaaay too many shirts, though, and I'm looking to rid my closet of most of them this winter, so that may be number two. I don't drink, nor so I smoke. Also I hate spoons. HATE. I love food. So much. Put lime or avocado in anything and I'll eat it. I really enjoy being outdoors. I need more photography in my home. I'm all about crazy, zany, silly shit. Otters, porcupines, and foxes are clearly the best animals. Writing about myself is so tough haha. Man, I would suck at dating websites. Anyway, I'm stoked to be a part of this this year. You could probably send me half a flip-flop and a spent tube of toothpaste and I'd still be elated. I promise I'm not picky at all. Thanks for having me.
  13. Stoked I got this but my card got charged six times! Hopefully they catch the glitch. Aaah
  14. If this goes live at some point during the day today, would anyone mind picking me up one? I'll be at work until 7 tonight with no means to access. I'll throw in 5 bucks for the help too.
  15. So after I posted here I got a quick response and an apology from the seller which left me very impressed. I was never angry at the situation, I was just unsure of what to do haha. I understand stuff happens, no reason to make hoopla over minutiae. BUT just so everyone else knows, swoopdog took care of me very well and I appreciate it immensely. Backed hard, and I'm looking forward to the next release. Thanks for everything.
  16. I ordered this about a month ago and still haven't gotten it. I tried emailing to inquire but didn't get a response either... I really don't want to file a PayPal claim though. Any ideas?
  17. Mine too! One of my favorite records, one that's super rare, first record I ever bought, and it skips. Daaaaaang
