  1. Finally a man of reason!! I'm not trying to scalp it, just get rid of the damned thing. itssimplyjeff, got a tradelist to swap for the ticket?
  2. I just now got shipping confirmation... I'm pretty sure this constitutes bullshit doesn't it? How the fuck am I supposed to get rid of a ticket in a day or two when I get it as I live in NC? Bah!
  3. Damn. Way to go. There's a non-limited single, but I was hesitant. Any ideas if the non-stamped one is limited at all?
  4. Did anyone snag one of these hand numbered foil stamped splits?! Limited to 300 and the TA track is remixed by AFP, also has a song by AFP. I'm pissed I missed out!
  5. How much thru shadow's site, though? I'm just assuming it may be unavailable at some point like the 4 track era LP... At least I dont know where you can get that now.
  6. I recommend snagging one from UGHH.com now. The 4 track era is sold out now and was pretty reasonably priced there too. UGHH has a lot of other genres too and has sale LPs too for cheap... just a thought. I can't speak highly enough of my experiences through that site and they throw in stickers sometimes and you get to pick free items depending on your purchase total.
  7. I got the two Elliot Smiths and the Ben Harper LP that I didn't realize they repressed (pleasure and pain). Predates first readily available album and I think is a collaboration album if I recall correctly. I had only seen it on eBay in the neighborhood of 300 in the past. His old stuff is solid in my opinion. Saw him in 97 and his live sets were top notch... he's mellowed out too much and gotten all Jack Johnson-y in the past 10 years.
  8. Yeah some of The Outsider was great (This Time (I'm Gonna Try It My Way) is one of my fave songs of his ever) but I hear ya. The Less You Know is pretty good, though. If you think about it, it is damned impossible to ever touch Endtroducing and not just because of it's greatness, but also because of why it's great. The man worked on his craft for over a decade so it was all leading up to that... But this and the other old works compilation (The Four Track Era) are great because you get to hear all of his formative works, which ironically, helped me appreciate The Outsider all that more... you see how much he went back to his roots of emcee based hip-hop... unfortunately The Outsider focused primarily on hyphy bay area emcees... I will back Shadow til the day I die... do not pass up the opportunity to see him live under any circumstances.
  9. Oh really? How much? I'd also like to try and get the Cage/Rumsfeld cut picture disc (I got the Cheney Radiohead remix) and wouldn't mind replacing my kind of worn out copy of Camel Bobsled Race.
  10. They're great and when I saw them Faraquet opened. If you're not familiar with Faraquet/Medications you are missing out on one incredible band.
  11. Just got this email from AR. The works of J. Robbins had and actually still have more influence on our musical socialization than almost anyone else‘s. The musician, producer, engineer and sound mixer has written independent music history by recording the music of many bands such as Pilot To Gunner, Coliseum, Clutch, The Promise Ring, Bluetip, Texas Is The Reason, Kerosene 454, Retisonic, Joshua, Against Me!, The Dismemberment Plan, Jets To Brazil, Garrison, Engine Down, to name just a few. Furthermore, his music had a big influence on the (post-)hardcore scene – and it still has. The music of bands he played in – like Government Issue, Jawbox, Burning Airlines and Channels – are milestones in the independent music history. His new band Office Of Future Plans (out on Dischord Records) once again proves that his talent is one of the biggest around: their new album is one of the best that has been released in the recent past. Unfortunately both of the fantastic albums J. Robbins has recorded with his band BURNING AIRLINES have never been released on vinyl until today. We have been fancying the idea of finally making this happen for years and making both records available on vinyl. Now it is actually and finally going to happen: Later this year, Arctic Rodeo is going to put out both full length albums from BURNING AIRLINES on vinyl via Cargo Records – the band‘s debut album entitled "Mission: Control!" as well as its second album called "Identikit". Both vinyl editions will have very nice and extraordinary packagings and will be limited pressings on colored vinyl. There will be bonus material on each album release, and there will be a free bonus CD given away with each vinyl record, each including the entire album plus bonus music. All gainings that will be made from selling these two records will be donated by us as the record label and our distributor Cargo Records to the medical treatment of Callum Robbins. For the Robbins family, Cal’s disease is a financial burden to bear: The son of J. and his wife Janet has a genetic disorder, and for the family it is very hard to afford the necessary treatments without any help and support. Most of the children suffering this terrible disease die before their second birthday. Cal is six years old today, he never learned to walk. By releasing the two albums from BURNING AIRLINES on vinyl, Arctic Rodeo Recordings as well as Cargo Records would like to support Cal, Janet and J., and we hope you are joining us by purchasing one or both of these LPs. If you are interested in donating and getting further informations about Cal and his disease, please feel free to surf over to Desoto Records: www.desotorecords.com We will keep you posted and thank you very much for being interested. Please feel free to spread the word. Arctic Rodeo online: www.arcticrodeorecordings.com – www.facebook.com/arcticrodeorecordings – www.twitter.com/arcticrodeo I'm pumped and this is a classy move on AR's part. I'm starting to love this label!
  12. UGHH even had a decent number of his Handmade LPs. I think I got all of them except for the Outsider Instrumentals on there.
  13. I got that email today too, but I've had an order in with UGHH.com for it for about a month. Shipping is waaaaaay cheaper that way, too. I'm all for supporting the artist directly... But not when shipping is ten bucks.
  14. Ha ha ha ha. I might get this...Below the Heavens was well worth the money. Thanks for the heads up!
  15. I hope you didn't drop too much money for it!! I'm really hoping Lovage and Dr. Octagon get some proper represses.
  16. Damn and I paid 30... oh well. At least I have it now and never paid 100+ for the first LP!
  17. That's a steal! If noone else wants it I'll take it... if only to have a backup (hardcore fan here) but won't swipe someone else's chance to own a copy. Not sealed I assume?
