  1. Maybe check your spam? I only knew because of an email from Tobacco this morning.
  2. My old roommate has a boss field recording rig and until we had a falling out (I'm cool; he's a douche) we or I (since 99% of the time he'd refuse to go out of the house or ever do anything) would record live shows and they for the most part turned out really well. I was listening to a show I taped recently and it got me thinking... Is anyone else on the VC forum a taper or bootlegs collector? I'm always interested in trading recordings if anyone else on here is.
  3. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1082093041/black-moth-super-rainbow-new-album-cobra-juicy Lots of options, but a minimum of 25 bucks will get you an exclusive color LP. I opted for the Lenticular Gatefold LP with a panel hand drawn to your design.
  4. Got mine today and it sounds great... screen printed jacket looks amazing. My only gripe is that it doesn't include the encore they played each show. Liner notes from Henry Rollins would have been a nice touch, too.
  5. I have both passing complexion but am not certain on the numbers... got mine and the orange one on discogs from someone in Europe a few years ago. Still need that carnival/scissoring single (just the album versions, right?) and ATDI split though.
  6. Who wants to buy my ticket? I'm sure this will somehow be non transferable. Lame... and I'm a sucker.
  7. So I've been calling local beer stores since I first saw them on eBay a couple weeks ago and noone has gotten any. All of the auctions I've seen for the record are being shipped from Delaware and Pholly and the one store who had any info here in NC said no one in my area would be getting one because they were able to package it sufficiently to get it out of the immediate Delaware area (which I found pretty ironic since I'm a packaging design engineer). I broke down and bought one on eBay today for 31 bucks and the end prices continue to climb. I've heard the tracks already and this is solid. I'd really like to try a bottle too but the EP was the greater concern for me. Founders is my fave brewery, btw; but DFH is outstanding!!
  8. And they've just posted the Identikit cover with the caption "Because you can't stand on one foot too long." I'm pretty sure these are both going to get released!!
  9. Great band, great album. I'll wait for a sane price, though.
  10. Arctic Rodeo's facebook page has posted an image of the album cover!! Anyone else a fan of this amazing album?! I'm hoping for Identikit as well!
  11. Far beyond has issues right out of the gate. Track one starts early due to a skip on all copies I believe. Vulgar display is fine. I'm getting trendkill and live101 for sure. Live101 was one of the few good LPs I had back in the day and foolishly parted with it thinking id have no use for it with CDs. Stupid!!!
  12. I firmly back the Graveface subscriptions. I think the guy from Bomb the Music Industry started a label with a subscription option.
  13. I need Make Yourself and everything before that... seriously. The only Incubus vinyl I have is the single with Familiar and instrumental tracks from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (which is actually their best album) This is a fact that is not open to dispute.
  14. Graveface has one but it's pretty dormant. I'm in the same boat as you... wondering what else is on there worth marking now that VC is no longer on it.
  15. So I don't know if anyone else saw it, but the day that VC went down the band announced that they'd be selling off their remaining band exclusive copies (red limited to 100) at 1 pm. I got one for myself and snagged an extra in case someone on here was in need. I haven't received them yet, but I assume they're on the way. They were 18 + shipping (which was way more than I'd expected) so I'm looking for 25 bucks ppd. Any takers?
