So can we all agree that the takeaway from all of this is that you're a bit of a dick if you do either of two things when a PO thread pops up: A) you posted it and then throw out insults at everyone else on the board who didn't comment with elation. you come to the thread solely to troll and bash a band (even if it's a case like this one, where situation A occurred first.) Deal? I'm still on the fence about this release, btw...not a fan of Trey's voice, but he is a good guitarist. The only quasi-solo album I picked up from him was Time Turns Elastic... which I did not care for.

I'm a sucker for anything Deerhoof and bought it right away... hoping that it is one of the signed first 50 copies. The bonus track is a nice touch!

Yeah! Bernie Worrell + Mike Watt + J Mascis is such a great trio for a track. Against the 70s with Eddie Vedder kicks as much ass as some of the best Pearl Jam songs (IMO) Flea, some beasties, Frank, Hank... such a gem and Piss Bottle Man is such a great song!

Phish Junta was a fucking ace RSD release (maybe the best of 2012, and I'd been waiting forever for Tomahawk on LP) but not everyone likes Phish... and of those who do, fewer like Trey solo. Found a copy of Mike Watt's Ballhog or Tugboat on blue vinyl signed for five bucks in a used bin. Such a good album that has to hold some record for most guest musicians.

PM'd! I'm in for the XL Sampler. And cymbalism, I have one live Elton John record (11-17-70) and it's one of my favorite live albums. Granted it's much older, but I imagine that the production value on a live album of his caliber nowadays would probably be top notch... just an assumption... and you should definitely check out 11-17-70. My ex girlfriend interviewed Ben Folds and he said it was where he got inspiration to play piano and play the style that they had. It's amazing.

I just messaged simplyjeff, but he hasn't responded to my post from yesterday so if I don't hear from him soon (I'd have to ship this out at the post office tomorrow by like noon to ensure that you get it, you pay shipping if you want anything over priority otherwise I have it covered.)
