  1. Free bump because I suspect motherfuckers are STILL sleeping on that fantastic Homelife record from last year. Maybe now that they're broken up people will recognize.
  2. It's so strange that an errant finger click brought me to this thread when I know nothing about this band, but when I saw mention of Glass Nail, I cringed and read on. Like many of you it appears, I ordered the Arrows In Her - leaving 10" very early this year. I also tried contacting Kenneth and got no response. I messaged with their singer on Facebook, and he said when (if?) the records finally come in, the band will be taking responsibility for sending out the orders. Given that TP had to just go to another label completely, I'm suspecting I'll never see that record. It sucks because that's a great EP. In any event, I guess it's high time to check out what TP sounds like.
  3. Ask and ye shall receive. This might be my favorite Dikembe song yet. I wish I would've been familiar with it for the show. http://bigfootprintsrecords.bandcamp.com/track/dikembe-untitled-how-demos-feel
  4. Hey all. I had the pleasure of seeing Dikembe play this past Monday and took video of their whole set. They were most triumphant, as were Low Cloud. I didn't really consider myself a Signals Midwest fan before the show, but I left mugh more interested in their music after their great performance. Overall it was an incredibly solid show with nary a dull moment. I was able to pick up a tour copy of the Pet Symmetry split 7". No special cover or anything, just the half black/half cream variant. Anyway, here's a link to my YouTube "channel" with all the videos from the show. Keep an eye out for Low Cloud and Cain Marko (they share members) out of Grand Rapids. Them boys good. http://www.youtube.com/user/MoonRulesNumber1/videos
  5. For the love of all things holy, someone please buy that Listen & Forgive off me. I don't want to look at that awful reminder of spending $60+ on a preorder bundle for my favorite band only to dislike the record. Be my knight in shining armor.
  6. Thanks so much for the bump/heads up on this. The black copy I got back in February has a very slightly off-center hole that makes the needle have some lateral movement, resulting in a slight warble. I love these songs too much not to order an orange that will hopefully not have that issue.
  7. I definitely want to score this at some point but can't now. Thanks for putting this out, bud. I'll look forward to hopefully ordering it sooner than later. "Attention" has been my jam since it was a Sleepsick song.
  8. Ann Arbor/Detroit area. I'd do everything in my power to make it out.
  9. Holy living fuck, I cannot wait to get this in the mail. I've been listening every day, sometimes twice, and I haven't been into a record this much in over a year, since PBC's Clash Battle Guilt Pride. And I swear some of the riffs, particularly on "Call It A Comeback", remind of the awesome 80's band The Outfield in the best way possible. Thanks for creating this and bringing it to my ears.
  10. The thing I'm most flabbergasted by is someone having the nerve to upload a 128 kbps copy of an album to what.cd. That shit's not allowed. As far as the album goes, I'm very underwhelmed and very glad I didn't preorder this as one of the paltry two records I'm allowing myself per month. I felt the same way about the Daylight though, which everyone else seemed to be head over heels for. Both records remind me of stuff I started listening to emo and punk to get away from (e.g., "grunge/alternative") in the 90's. Maybe it's an age thing. For what it's worth, this other new band from the same general area as Ciz is getting the love and plays I thought Youth would get from me right now. Hopefully Youth will grow on me because I think they're a super talented bunch of youngsters based on past output. http://formerstates.bandcamp.com/
  11. Oh OK, I'm used to people using the strike-through to note something they don't need anymore or is already sold. I guess you use highlighting instead, which I didn't notice until further inspection. Carry on and good luck!
  12. I have a gold or clear 2012 12" version of Anthology Of Dead Ends for sale on Discogs if you're interested. The gold is listed, but you can have the clear if you would rather. http://www.discogs.com/buy/Vinyl/Botch-An-Anthology-Of-Dead-Ends/100460494?ev=bp_titl
  13. Thanks, bud. Same to you. The return to school has been a relatively smooth ride so far besides the constant accumulation of student debt (after finally paying off my first batch a couple years ago) and depletion of the savings. Actually the hardest part might be sticking to my 2 albums + 2 7"s per month purchasing limit. Wish I could say I was thoroughly enjoying the ATDI - RoC you hooked me up with as my second LP of April, but unfortunately that's only half true, as I'm one of the sorry sons of bitches with an overly large C/D record and a tone arm rest that sits too close to the table (it's a $250 Pioneer, not a Crosley, I swear!). I can't decide whether to sell it and get the future standard version in August or take the sandpaper or vegetable peeler to it like I have some other records that had nubs on them.
  14. Hi all. I recently set up a seller's account on Discogs. I quit my soul-sucking job last summer to become a full-time student again at age 32. My wife and I are supporting ourselves on my meager savings and her meager social worker's income, so unfortunately I've had to come to the realizations that variant collecting is something I never should've started and that I need to do something to get rid of some of those records as well as some that I don't ever listen to. It kills me to have to part with some of these, but it's what needs to be done, and hopefully having these will make someone else happy. I'm generally sticking to a "US customers only" policy, but as I say in the shipping terms on my Discogs account, I am willing to try to work something out with international board members who are strongly backed as good people who won't try to scam me. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me here or on Discogs. PLEASE NOTE YOU DO NOT NECESSARILY HAVE TO BUY THESE THROUGH DISCOGS. I am fine with using PM's and PayPal if you're cool with that. I'd just as soon pay as few fees as possible anyway. I mainly linked my Discogs inventory for a convenient way for people to see desired prices and conditions. I'm well aware that some of these prices are high, and that's why I'm allowing offers on most of them. Offer away, but know that anything less than 80% of my asking price will almost certainly be declined. I do need the money, but I also don't want to get fleeced. Also, please keep in mind that by the time Discogs and PayPal take their cuts, I lose about 10% of the price. Anyway, here's the list. I'll do my best to update it daily as things are sold. http://www.discogs.com/seller/rjbajema# Botch - Anthology of Dead Ends (RSD 2012, your choice of gold or clear) Circa Survive - Appendage (RSD 2011, oxblood/2000) Constants - The Foundation, The Ascension, The Machine (3xLP, brown/clear/gray/100) CSTVT (Castevet) - CSTVT (7", gray/100) Daylight - The Difference In Good And Bad Dreams (7", 1st press, magenta/200 or green/300) Doomstarks (MF DOOM + Ghostface Killah) - Victory Laps (12" single picture disc) face to face + rise against - split 7" (white/500 and clear/2000) Felix Culpa, The - Sever Your Roots (2xLP, clear/350) Gaslight Anthem, The - Sink Or Swim Demos (7", yellow/?) 15. I am thrilled to have snagged a copy of this. I almost pulled the trigger on the grey a week ago but decided to wait until I could offset it with a sale on Discogs. Luckily someone snagged something today, and boom, here this was. I'm really loving this album and can't wait to give it a proper spin.
  16. Mitten representation bump. I hope to pick this up soon when the funds to do so are available. Thanks for the reminder.
  17. I'm pretty sure Dr. Lecter was out well before this and that got him known before this. Either day, both are great records. I also own this one on black. Bronsalino is cool, but I get really tired of all the hooker butthole talk. Then again, I'd rather listen to Vanilla Ice do rap-metal than any Too Short song.
