  1. Any chance you still have the Red City Radio - ...Woody Guthrie laying around? I need that bad.
  2. Oh dear lord yes. All hail Flood. That's the record that got me out of hair metal, and I've been distraught over the idea that the repress was going to get canned with all this horse shit. I'm crossing my fingers that everything comes through for you.
  3. This was my experience. The 3 seemingly failed credit card charging attempts (before my one successful PayPal attempt) which actually did get charged were gone from my online account statement within a couple days. Maybe other people's credit card companies are just slower.
  4. I tried this. Twice. Then thought to check my bank account. Looks like I bought two of these? 3 charges on my credit card. Shit sandwich. Apparently the error message was wrong. I don't need 4 copies of this. Hopefully multiple buys by the same person will just get canceled/refunded.
  5. Side One only has red. SRC has green. I don't know where the blue is. http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/The-Swellers-%252d-Vehicle-City-Blues-7%22.html
  6. Thanks for reposting that. I wanted to re-read that post, but couldn't bear to go back and find it. Now I really want to know who the hell sent 69 that PM.
  7. Here's another new song. It's actually called "Shapeless" and is the lead-off track on the album. I like it quite a bit more than the preview song they posted. And for what it's worth, this is the old lineup with the old bass player. They've since gotten a new one who also contributes vocals and rounds out the band pretty well. TAKE NOTICE.
  8. Ordered this with a quickness. These guys are undoubtedly my favorite MI band right now, and I can say with all certainty (having been lucky enough to hear it) that the whole album is every bit as good as the preview song. I've shot some live videos of them too, if anyone wants to check them out. I don't think I can properly link/embed them with my phone, but my username on YouTube is Moonrulesnumber1. For what it's worth I think there are still copies of their split 7" with Bike Tuff available too. Both their songs on that are phenomenal, especially "Troubled Mind".
  9. I feel sorry for everyone who bought this, but the biggest reason it bums me out is because it probably means the reissue of Quicksand's Slip is dead in the water. I guess I should've pulled the trigger on that Euro bootleg when I had the chance.
  10. Stoked to the 10th power. Incredible record that always deserved to be pressed. Such a shame they flamed out after this.
  11. Listened to mine yesterday and it did pop a little bit on the B-side. Didn't really think about it until I read this now. Hm. I had the same problem and saw the scratches. I figured maybe it happened in shipping but I doubt that now. Thanks for speaking up. I'll have to email Rev too. This is too important of an album to have it sound like dick.
  12. Can someone refresh my memory as to what was done with C&C in the US last year? I wasn't after that one but I do remember quite a bit of chatter about it. I may have to Artie Lange myself if I can't get a copy of the Red Tree. If anybody got the C&C at a store in MI last year, please drop the knowledge. Or was Justin able to post a list of what stores were getting copies? That would obviously be optimal.
  13. Scored a black/clear split. I feel sorry for all the SAOTW fans who think this isn't going up until 4:00 CST like the band said. No black for them.
  14. I think the worst example in my collection of this issue going the wrong way is Def Leppard - Hysteria with 70+ minutes pressed on a single LP. Who were the ad wizards? I would love to see the deluxe CD reissue they did a few years back get pressed on a 3xLP or something.
  15. Great question. I've been wondering the same thing after seeing those on discogs and knowing that the repress is probably way on the backburner with the MTS situation. For the record, the repress is through Academy Fight Song, but that doesn't really change the situation.
  16. That might still end up being a steal based on this. http://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php?searchtext=this+town+needs+guns&x=25&y=5
  17. I stumbled across this while trying to find out whether Japanese band The Cabs had any records out. I have no clue what the text says, but there definitely appears to be a price and an add-to-cart button. Whether they actually have any in stock is another question. Good luck translating! I hope you can figure it out enough to get yourself a record, because as a proud owner I must say that every fan should be able to own a copy. http://zankyo.shop-pro.jp/?pid=35871009
  18. Bump for the simple fact that the Crucial Dudes record should've sold out a long time ago based on how much it rules.
  19. I have actually spoken to amy(the labels former owner) in the past few months about this . I asked her about this release specifically alone with the bled- pass the flask and recover ep. She said unless there is a "hefty advance for me and the band" then we have no interest and most likely I wil do it myself in the future. SO there is your answer, its a shame because i love all three of those albums and the recover ep was fit on a 7". That album is my fvaorite short ep, 4 songs and 15 minutes of pure balls to the wall rock music. I forgot that Recover EP was on Fiddler. You're right, that was by far the best thing they ever did. I back the fuck out of the Bled album too. Show her this thread and tell her to turn that "most likely" into a "definitely" and "in the future" to "right now". I needs 'em.
  20. We need Travis on this. He's the new Jesus. Travis Christ for president 2012. And for the record, Hold On is way above anything else they ever did before in my book. It really deserves to be pressed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention that others here share my opinion.
  21. 1. Mega-stoked for both of these. They were undoubtedly one of my favorite bands of the early 00's. 2. I agree "Nice Night For A Fist Fight" should be included, but let's not forget what may be my favorite Park song ever, "Kill/Collapse". I'm pretty sure it was also a IWS b-side, and I believe the only copy that ever got mass distributed was a shity 128k mp3 files the band posted (can't remember exactly where or when). 3. I also would fully back pressing Over It - Timing Is Everything. 4. While we're talking Lobster, I can't believe nobody mentioned Staring Back yet! Their final album, On, was out-of-this-world good and criminally slept-on. It totally deserves to be pressed, if only maybe a 200 or 250 run. If any of you dig Park and Over It and haven't heard that album, you're doing yourself a grave disservice.
  22. Got mine via media mail in Ypsi on Monday or Tuesday of this week, I forget which.
