I believe I was about 15 when I picked up my first punk rock 7" around 1996. My list is severally outdated but I would guess I'm about 1500 or so.

I used to have a pretty hefty collection but sold most like 7 years ago. Sold the pie tin but kept the cearl box, cheese and cake 7"s. Still have single copies of most LPs and a few comps and other 7"s. I don't think I took a final photo before I started selling it all but am sure I have some old pictures somewhere. I'll post em if I find em.

I believe they responded to one of my facebook messages about the Vandals, and guttermouth represses and they said they were holding off a bit to do something more special. not too sure what that means, but seems like they will be happening, just later down the road.

Sorry for the double post but I caught offspring, Pennywise and bad religion show Thursday night. So much fun, while making me feel so old. I realized I had not seen offspring live since their tour with strung out and AFI opening for em like, 19 years ago.

Jeff Ross was the emcee, he mostly did crowd work and ripped on people. He just popped back on after the intermission.

some ran a bit longer, with aziz & Louie doing about 35-40. Maron just kept to shorter stories but had a super solid set. Brent Morin was the unknown for me and he killed me, and hannibal slayed it. Reggie watts was the only disappointing act of the night.

this big comedy fest turned out a lot better than i thought it would be (it was at a massive outside venue).

Man i have always wanted to find 2d 10". if i remember correctly it was limited to like 50 copies or less.

Monday i was promoted to a Media Director at my ad agency. Pretty exciting, yet super duper stressful just 2 days in, but it did come with a hefty raise. Excited and nervous all at the same time.

Love that dude, his own podcast is rough and i cant really get into it. Love Ari shaffir's skeptic tank podcast (hes on rogan's alot). Ari's has a topic for each episode so you kinda know what you are getting into. So there have been ones about comics with past lives as drug dealers/thugs, one with brad Williams about being a little person, he recently did one with a gay comic (name slips the mind) about living with HIV for the last 20 years. Some are better than others but Ari is funny, and usually he has some pretty great guests with good stories.

Yeah, not stoked on the venue but I scored free tickets trough work so I'm happy.
