Every european country has its own postal service and subsequently its own rates and those vary greatly. German rates are known to be really fair, whereas UK rates are just insane, so what he is telling you is for real.

The splatter is the standard retail version, not the RC version.

They are doing the test press thing for every release that has over 500 pressed, so this also applies to Whirr. From Facebook: "We're doing the test pressing thing for the Whirr release so Record Clubbers stay tuned."
