  1. I know splits are common and understand that HT doesn't operate exactly the same as labels, but isn't the jacket a part of the product? How can they only be responsible for the actual disc, yet not the jacket, when 9 times out of 10 they are saran wrapped together? If I can't order just the physical disc, then why aren't they responsible for both? Also, just out of curiosity, why does vinyl no longer qualifies for ship to store? Previously, I'd been able to ship to a store that has never carried vinyl and received my records in individual mailers, so far without any damage. However, now that no stores carry vinyl, I can't ship to the store, have to cough up another $6-8 for shipping (+tax), and receive an inferior product in the end...
  2. So this was the response I got from HT about damage from shipping (split seams and corner bends) for the splatter: "We apologize but we are not responsible for jacket damage, as we do not sell jackets. We are responsible for the Vynil LP we sell inside the Jacket." Never had a problem with split seams when they allowed ship to store...
  3. Just got my copy in from Bull Moose - got the orange variant, but the hype sticker says limited to 375 not 400 like the site does.
  4. Looks like vinyl doesn't come with a download either. They just updated the store page, adding "Note: Vinyl boxset will ship early September, it does not include a digital download."
  5. I was gonna say, I've never seen a discount code from BM. There isn't even a promo code option at checkout.
  6. I'm not receiving any emails from VC, direct messages or from any content I follow, since the update. I double checked my settings and I still have email notifications selected for both.
  7. Live CD is up on the RAGC Bandcamp: https://rightawaygreatcaptain.bandcamp.com/album/ragc-live-at-the-knitting-factory
  8. Already got shipping confirmation about 20 min after my order went through.
  9. I don't care about this either, but found it on Bull Moose: http://www.bullmoose.com/p/22439291/eminem-slim-shady-lp
  10. Watch out on this - there was a repress of the red due to sound issues. Also, I have Shaun of the Dead (Beer version) and Wilco AM (VMP) that I'd consider letting go of.
  11. Got my copy from TRL in yesterday. Packaging is similar to Take Care - multi panel gatefold and a slip cover. The gatefold is a bit tricky to open, but I like the decision to have a translucent A/B and opaque C/D, makes the etching stand out more.
  12. $22.97 @ Bull Moose (plus shipping): http://www.bullmoose.com/p/22031488/yeasayer-amen-goodbye
  13. Haven't seen a link for it yet, but the olive indie exclusive is up at Bull Moose: http://www.bullmoose.com/p/22333489/nothing-tired-of-tomorrow-olive-green-vinyl
  14. My copy has a bit more marbling. I like how it came out, but I wouldn't have voted for it.
  15. Haven't checked it out yet, pretty busy week for me. Will give it a spin later this weekend with all my other new arrivals.
  16. These came in today. Best packaging I've received in a while - corner bumpers and a big box. Sleeves are nice too.
  17. The standard was probably delayed cause my clear came in today. Looks great. Thought it was orange for a second because the inside of the sleeve is bright orange.
  18. I didn't see this mentioned in the thread, but Beach Slang is the latest band in Polyvinyl's "With Compliments" Series: "With Compliments is a series of limited edition 7" pressings we created especially for our mailorder customers. These records are never for sale. Instead, we tuck them into random orders placed at polyvinylrecords.com as a small token of our immense gratitude." (https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/withcompliments/). Just got a copy in my most recent PV order. Pretty cool idea, wish it was non album tracks though.
  19. Def think some cart holding is going on, but 800 copies in 10 min is damn impressive (they went up at 11:58).
  20. No problem! I did too, actually found out about NVM here on VC.
