oh ok, well thanks for letting it go! i thought it was a bit high, but it's 3xLPs. i'm not gonna spend on much else this year, just hope to get two 7"s and that puig destroyer LP so i figured one high price item is ok.

well, i just managed to order the leatherface box set. maybe it was in someone's cart when i tried 20 minutes ago? i was just curious so i don't have to go out of my way to look for it elsewhere tomorrow. i can cross 2 things off the list of 5 that i really wanted if the orders get fulfilled. i wonder if they don't charge shipping yet because people put orders in here and there as they become available, too, so they just lump your stuff together and figure out where you live before they give you shipping total? i have no idea. just being optimistic. :-/

i tried ordering but it's still not coming up. maybe it sold out already? i did however order the 101ers 2xLP. i've never ordered from dr. strange before, are they pretty reliable with fulfilling RSD orders made online?

ya of course, i'll see if it's possible. rev and no sleep are both by me also so if i strike out at the stores i'm swinging by, i'll check with them after RSD is said and done to see if they held onto any. fingers crossed for us all!

oh my bad, sorry bout that. i forgot that this is the second half of the last season. i really hate how shows do that. it feels like SO LONG AGO that the first half was that like lebowski, i've forgotten where they left off. it made me think it was january 1969 because they looked sort of like they were celebrating something in that diner when they were dressed all fancy. like they dropped in after a new years party or something. so ya, i guess it's like 8 months later. that is a bit of a time jump.

nope. i thought so, but looked it up and it left off around thanksgiving 1968 and picks back up in january 1969. the show will end in july 1969. it is nice to see peggy happy but she was kind of bitchy with joan in the elevator, haha.

i'm relieved i can go to that faith no more show in a couple weeks and NOT think about hockey. i went to that jim adkins show at the wayfarer/detroit bar a little bit ago and couldn't stop thinking about the kings/ducks game that was going on. i walked in with the kings in the lead and by the time i walked out, they'd blown it. i was kind of mad at myself for going out that night, haha. i'll also make more use out of my disney pass.

oh and haha, i could probably deal if all i were drinking were whiskey. my metabolism can't handle pizza more than once every few months. pizza and beer every 2 weeks is murder to me. not too mention all the unhealthy anxiety the kings gave me every game day. it would be nice to finally be able to relax, as much as i actually do enjoy the thrill of the playoffs.

i know what you were saying about driving out there to watch a game, but man, i feel like that is like rooting for the ducks or even sharks for me. COULD NEVER DO IT. back when the kings sucked still, i'd get playoff tickets to the ducks and ALWAYS cheered against them. i was totally cheering for edmonton against anaheim in 2006! this year, i'm ok with any team in the east winning it except for detroit and maybe washington. i don't hate detroit, but i just know if they win it again, i'll hear all the CA wings fans come up out of nowhere again. i don't really care if the caps win it but i have a few caps fan friends who used to laugh off the kings 2012 win like it was a fluke and it feels better to laugh back at them for having nothing. i'd actually like the islanders or tampa to win it. in the west, i'd be ok with st. louis, nashville, minnesota, winnipeg or calgary winning it. not too many teams i hate in the running this year. just please absolutely not the ducks or the canucks.

i would've thought an oilers fan would want the kings to edge calgary out. i half want(ed) the kings to make it in, half relieved that i can save my money and do other things. i must've dropped a few grand on playoff games the last 3 years and put my social life on hold because i'd wait for the playoff schedule to come out each round before i'd commit to doing anything with anyone. i'll probably eat and drink healthier, too, since i had a ritual of pizza and beer every first game of each round.

agree. i had a feeling something was going to happen when his friend (marco, was his name?) needled him into one more go at it. i noticed his health wasn't great, but didn't expect it to go that way with the friend though.

i'm seeing faith no more later this month in southern CA. i WISH refused were doing that date with them.

so i just listened to it for the first time and i like it quite a bit. not sure i would say it's the best since plans or as good as it, but i definitely like it better than codes & keys. i think i like it the same as narrow stairs, but the sound is different so personally, i can't really compare. i had originally pre-ordered it from amazon and it arrived today, on black vinyl. after seeing a bunch of posts here throughout the week, i expected it so i went to my local shop earlier in the week and bought the color option. it cost the same. after receiving the amazon package, i sent them an email asking to return it for a full refund (with shipping) and it was no prob. glad at least one of you was able to get the signed amoeba copy. nice of them to throw that up at not a terribly inflated price. i already had my copy so i didn't bother with it.

amoeba just threw up a few signed copies for $32.98 on their site if anyone wants that. (no idea if it's colored or not).

two of the stores i regularly go to have that superhero 7". one of them had a ton... like more than 10. the other one, i don't know, i just know saw they posted on their IG feed that it was in. that's port of sound in costa mesa, CA and bionic records in buena park, CA.

steve buscemi is disappoint! i like all of those things. i will only eat celery with PB or in cooking such as in a mire poix, it's great for making tomato pasta sauce from scratch or roasting turkey and making gravy. i *would* put mayo on my list mainly because as a kid so many times, i'd have a sandwich made for me that had disgusting gloppy mayo blooping out the sides. GROSS. the only way i will eat mayo right now is if it's an aioli or housemade mayo with fries. it usually has more flavor and i can just dip a fry in it rather than have some disgusting uncontrolled amount overpowering what i am eating. ya. hate it. haven't eaten at a number of places in at least 15 years, if ever. i can't eat ranch. i don't even like the flavor but i was told a story about ranch in restaurants that turned me off forever. i like or tolerate almost everything else in this thread though. haven't tried haggis or kombucha but have no desire.

yes! it was. i, too, was quite pleased with the packaging. it was funny. the actual record looks nothing like turquoise, but as i was instagramming it, some of the filters made it look turquoise. hahaha. maybe there's a touch of green in there that some of the filters can pick up but just not enough for our eyes to. who knows. i'm not disappointed at all about the way the colors turned out, just not as badly wanting that splatter as i used to.
