Thanks for the heads up. After not ordering the Wedding Band 10" when it was up, and possibly some of the first EP's as well, and now seeing how much I'd have to pay on eBay for them, I'm gladly purchasing these new 7"s What's weird is that the "Lover of the Light" 7" was labeled as having "Thistle & Weeds" live from Red Rocks on the b-side, but it actually had "Awake My Soul". Only weird because "Thistle and Weeds" is the only track from the whole live album that doesn't show up on the vinyl version in that expensive box set.

does anyone else's copy of this skip during one of the Emmylou Harris songs on the B Side? Just wondering if this is a pressing problem, or if I should return the copy for a new one since mine has a skip

Anybody else into Sacred Harp singing? I got into it from the soundtrack, and have been to quite a few singings. Some that I've been to, I noticed a lot of the singers were the same people as in the concert they have in the special features on the DVD, including Tim Eriksen, who was one of the musicians/arrangers on the soundtrack

Has everyone here that ordered one received it? I'm still waiting on mine even after getting a shipping notification on 12/7. Granted 12 days isnt that much time to get a record from the UK, im just wondering.

I was #3 at 5a.m.!!! I was also given what I was told was the last poster for that stop and I was again #3 in line. Got myself a triple decker, big three tri, rome double LP, slip mat, and 45 adapter. ridiculously stoked for my first RRS experience. now i'm at work for the next 6 hours, and I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm on hour 30 and counting of being awake right now. will definitely respond to this post if i start hallucinating.

picked this up at my local Newbury Comics today. stoked to listen to it when I get home from work!

I think it was on one of his live albums where he said that it was really hard for him to get out of writing really depressing songs focusing on negative things. He said something about wanting to write a happy album, but had a really hard time doing it. I can see how that would make it really hard for him to write a new album. If Damien Rice wrote an album full of happy songs, I don't think I could get into it.
