  1. you posted almost the exact same sentiment a week ago today. I'm really glad your opinion hasn't changed.
  2. Did you specifically tell him this? Usually they only give you the discount for shipping to someone you've shipped to before if you tell them.
  3. instead of being a weird introvert about a situation you have with a specific company and asking a completely unrelated messageboard about it, maybe you could take 2 minutes and call the company and ask a customer service rep about it? that's what their job is to do. source: i'm a customer service rep (not with amazon)
  4. Redscroll Records is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. wait, so since Justin Cole got 4 pink copies in Dallas, if I order from Amazon, what color am I going to get? is it the picture disc?
  6. I used to have the Test Press of this along with a copy of the Halloween press with a clear transparency film instead of the orange paper. It was out of 2 or 3. I sold that years ago though...
  7. I second this. Incredible doc. Dude also does a weekly podcast sharing his musics. If you're interested in documentaries you should also check out dustandgrooves.com It's a photographic project where he Interviews and photographs different collectors around the world. It's pretty interesting.
  8. The highest price paid for a Chung King so far is $3500. I know because I sold it a few years back. It was #65. At $3500, it makes WAY more sense than $4000. /sarcasm
  9. a few people on WhiteSwirl have used clocks to frame some of the specialty records, like the Liquid Filled Record and/or the Triple Decker Record . Here's an example:
  10. Yes, I have. In your post you were commenting on the gold and platinum records, and that you were wishing that TMR had done this for other releases, such as "Broken Boy Soldiers" by The Racontoeurs. I was referencing the fact that having this soundtrack pressed as such is a perfect fit for the book, since the book features themes of wealth and affluence. Obviously you don't understand what I meant.
  11. Pretty sure the title of the thread is vinyl related tattoos, not music related tattoos. There's only like three vinyl related tattoos in this thread...
  12. I'd like to think that her baby is his baby too. and that's the reason for the internal discord
  13. I'm assuming he means the principle of the fact that it's a modern remake of a classic horror movie, now starring Elijah Wood
  14. these are for sale on the death waltz site right now
  15. I hope that they've reconciled whatever it was that happened and are going to play shows again!!!!!!!
  16. I really like Dust & Grooves. It's a photography based vinyl collecting blogs that has features that highlight different collectors around the states and their different collections and obsessions with different genres. http://www.dustandgrooves.com/
  17. Got a copy of the "Another Happy Day" soundtrack at Grimey's in Nashville on Record Store Day along with a copy of this new album. Just got around to opening the "Another Happy Day" soundtrack and listening to it and there's all sorts of weird pits and scratches in the vinyl that seem to be from manufacturing. Super bummed. What I could listen to sounded great. Hopefully Grimey's can do something for me since I live all the way up in Connecticut...
  18. was going to offer you $1000, but then I saw that you're selling the Gorilla Buscuits Start Today record on purple, and I am looking for the Gorilla Biscuits Start Today record on purple. good luck with your sale!
  19. PMed a few people on the board already but if anyone has the Mumford & Sons 10" they're willing to sell, I'd be forever grateful. They're my favorite band and this is the one thing I couldn't gt yesterday
