Agreed that this sounds better that the 2x10", but pretty bummed that the solo cut on "Shadowlands" is different... the original solo is one of my favorite parts of the album.

To echo everyone else, this is such an amazing idea and project. I spent so much time in my formative years at The Fireside, lived around the corner from it for a few years, opened for Candiria there... so many amazing memories. I meet up with friends there every now and then to bowl a few games there, but it's just not the same as it was when it was used as a venue.

Popped in to advise that if you have the chance to see this band live, do not sleep on it. I've seen them twice, once opening for Young Widows and once opening for Big Business, and they've successfully upstaged both by a long shot. If you're only half way sold by listening to their recorded output, do yourself a favor and go have your mind blown live. Keep your eyes on the drummer... she's an absolute beast.

From what I remember (I was there last Saturday), they didn't have any copies of 2 at all.

If you're prepared to dig, and I mean really spend hours getting your hands dirty and digging, you can't beat The Thing in Greenpoint. Sounds like it's exactly what you might be looking for. Be forewarned, though, it's a tad overwhelming.

Is this really OOP? I bought a copy from the Captured Tracks brick and mortar a few days ago and they had a handful of copies.
