  1. Agreed. Spent all weekend listening to it, and just gave up.
  2. Agreed that this sounds better that the 2x10", but pretty bummed that the solo cut on "Shadowlands" is different... the original solo is one of my favorite parts of the album.
  3. Welp... there's the one title that may pull me out for RSD this year. SDRE has always been a favorite of mine.
  4. Bought with the quickness... If you're a fan of NMH, I don't see how this would even be a debate.
  5. Finally!!! http://musiconvinyl.com/catalog/david-bowie/reality#.Uwy1OuNdXkq “Welcome to Reality…” We are pleased to announce that Reality, David Bowie’s 26th studio album, will finally get an official vinyl release via Music On Vinyl on March 17th. When Reality was originally released back in 2003, vinyl sales were at an all-time low and (much to the chagrin of vinyl lovers everywhere) the album never made it on to the black stuff. Now, MOV will not only release the album on black vinyl but also on transparent green vinyl and on orange vinyl with both editions being limited to 2,500 numbered copies. The package will include a large format 12-page booklet all reproduced to the usual high quality MOV standard. 6. I received an email from Kickstarter early last week asking me to confirm my address, but haven't received anything yet.
  7. Just saw this posted on Facebook a few mins ago: The wait is almost over. The Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab release of Ryan Adams/Love is Hell is on its way to our warehouse as we speak! If you haven't done so already, place your preorder below and we will ship it to you as soon as we receive it.
  8. To echo everyone else, this is such an amazing idea and project. I spent so much time in my formative years at The Fireside, lived around the corner from it for a few years, opened for Candiria there... so many amazing memories. I meet up with friends there every now and then to bowl a few games there, but it's just not the same as it was when it was used as a venue.
  9. Popped in to advise that if you have the chance to see this band live, do not sleep on it. I've seen them twice, once opening for Young Widows and once opening for Big Business, and they've successfully upstaged both by a long shot. If you're only half way sold by listening to their recorded output, do yourself a favor and go have your mind blown live. Keep your eyes on the drummer... she's an absolute beast.
  10. From what I remember (I was there last Saturday), they didn't have any copies of 2 at all.
  11. If you're prepared to dig, and I mean really spend hours getting your hands dirty and digging, you can't beat The Thing in Greenpoint. Sounds like it's exactly what you might be looking for. Be forewarned, though, it's a tad overwhelming.
  12. Is this really OOP? I bought a copy from the Captured Tracks brick and mortar a few days ago and they had a handful of copies.
  13. Hitting up the Television show on Saturday... interested to see what this place is like.
  14. Bummed to have to miss the Chicago date... but saw Goblin earlier this month, so I guess that makes up for it.
  15. Anyone know what brand of shirts they printed these on?
  16. Vacation had these in stock like 3 weeks ago: http://instagram.com/p/eflswLN8Md/ ...wondering if that's how some folks have their copies already.

  20. Pleasure was immense... digging what I've heard off this so far.
  21. Bought the cassette. Can't wait to blast this fucker in my 2001 Volvo cassette deck like a (stoned) boss.
