  1. Why spend 20 minutes reading through a thread or interview when I can just post the question and have it answered 5 minutes later? Work smarter, not harder
  2. If it's anything like my original pressing of War All The Time, it will sound just as good--and it's only 1 LP as well. I don't know what happened to the represses Island has been doing lately.
  3. Got my gold copy in today. I played a few tracks from the HT repress (brown), and then played all of the new pressing. I can confidently say the new pressing has WAY less surface noise. The actual music also has more depth, even from my modest setup I can tell the new pressing has more dynamic range than the previous. Side note: In regards to the HT represses, I'm super grateful that Travis helped to get those released. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have a vinyl copy of A City By The Light Divided...so I sincerely appreciate it. Not trying to bash him at all. Setup: Technics 1200 w/ Shure M97xE EDIT: For those wondering about the inserts http://imgur.com/a/6snEe
  4. Did anyone get email confirmation from the label when placing your order? So far I've only got an e-mail from paypal.
  5. Was thinking about this record a few days ago, wondering if it would ever get repressed. This is great news, especially since it's going to be 12".
  6. Tame Impala - Innerspeaker (45 RPM edition) and Underoath - Define the Great Line To this day I'm still really pissed over the Tame Impala one.
  7. Never Born, Never Dead has been my favorite Trophy Scars release prior to Holy Vacants. Holy Vacants could take the number one spot, but I need to give it some settling time. Hopefully my records arrive soon.
  8. Has anyone gotten the new reissue yet? I'm curious if it's exactly the same as the original release. I left a note for UPS to leave my package at the door, but the idiots just left their own note saying they'd try again tomorrow.
  9. Anyone counted the number of times he says "I Will"? Overall the album is okay. I feel like a lot of songs are attempts of recreating 'King Park'. Maybe after I listen some more the album will distinguish itself from Wildlife.
  10. Do a google search for 'comeback kid die knowing soundcloud'.
  11. This record really does grow on you. But it sounds like hes saying 'I shit no better' on 'Should Know Better'..at least that's what I keep hearing. I'm like damn dude...get some exlax.
  12. The first leak/rip I listened to sounded like shit quality wise, it seems like some of the sounds got cut out or something. Now that I've listened to the proper stream, I'm digging this album way more. Not sure how I feel about Scott Wade's part.
  13. I just spent $82.97 USD ordering both variants. I hope Trophy Scars gets most of that money. Completely worth it either way. Can't fucking wait.
  14. That's a tough claim to make. I'm very hesitant to believe the opinions of people with advanced copies. I think some get so excited over hearing it before everyone else that they forget to actually listen to the record. With that being said, I hope you're right!
  15. I picked up Illmatic last month, kind of wish I had waited for this.
  16. Didn't realize these guys were still a band. Last thing I heard from them was their 2005 release From Our Heart To Yours (still have the MP3s). Just looked them up on Wikipedia, I guess this is like a second generation of the band or something. "Hundredth formed in 2008 when a previous band called The Hundredth split." They are both from Myrtle Beach, SC, I wonder if they have any of the original members.
  17. Damnit, my copy has two side B's. On a side note, The Slim Shady LP reissue is up on Amazon for $23, pretty good price for the Respect The Classics series. 8 Mile soundtrack is on there too. http://www.amazon.com/The-Slim-Shady-LP-Eminem/dp/B00000ICXV/
  18. My purple copy arrived last week, took about 5-6 weeks. Mine had splits on the top, side (right through 'Kanye West - Yeezus') and bottom. Side A, track 1 skips really bad, but everything else plays through. They said they would send replacements though, so I'm not mad.
  19. I think Broadcasting is a great album, as well as Symptoms + Cures. Wake The Dead was a really good album as well, but I feel like Scott's vocals were a bit limited. Andrew has way more range and can do different styles, while still keeping the CBK sound. Super stoked for this next album, glad I picked up a tan copy.
  20. Amazon said my copy has been shipped, should arrive tomorrow.
  21. They took all releases from Damon Albarn off the site, not just the 7" pre-order. You could also pre-order the CD version of the album, as well as digital versions of the 7" and album. I'd say there's a chance this goes back up.
  22. Thanks for the heads up. Curious to see what they do for the LP release of the album.
  23. That's because the file is in wave (.wav) format, which is equivalent to true CD quality (songs on a CD are in wave format). If you dumped all of the songs without compressing to MP3 or whatever, the size of the album would be ~500-700 MB, depending on the length.
