I'm glad they released Alphabets first so they know what they need to improve on for their next releases. Shipping for the last release was terrible, most people had split seams because the records were just thrown in a box and shipped. Tried to buy a new jacket but they didn't print any extras at all.

I don't give a shit what the record looks like, I just want it to sound good.

Just got my copy. Thanks SRC for putting the record behind the sleeve instead of inside of the sleeve for shipping, guaranteed no split seams. Also nice that the jacket is a gatefold, and the insert is also a double sheet/gatefold. I wish more represses were done this nicely.

If you ordered through Paypal, it looks like the order goes through but then there's a 'Click Here To Confirm Your Order' type link on the very last page, you may have missed. Soon as I clicked that I got an e-mail from Paypal and from the website confirming my order.

My copy just came in from Amazon. Overall it seems like a nice release. The records are a gold/orange translucent vinyl. The vinyl feels very smooth on the outside edges, compared to some other recent records that have rougher edges. Audio comes through super clear with no surface noise that I've noticed.

They actually give you the PMS color codes for each (375 and 1375). They just don't clarify if it will be opaque or translucent.

Not making excuses for anyone, but this just happens around Christmas time since there are so many packages. Last year my copy of Demon Days was delivered to the wrong address, luckily whoever it was sent to was nice enough to return it. I think someone else in this thread had the same thing happen with this record, maybe see what actions he took.

That's why there is a Buy/Sell/Trade section. You're pissing everyone off by spamming your auction in the wrong place. Post it in the right place and the people that may be interested will actually see it. Now nobody here wants to even buy your record because you're been a smart ass about the whole thing.

Report it to Fedex and Third Man, between the two maybe you can get it sorted out.

Definitely picking this up.

Call me greedy but I'd rather them go ahead and repress four 10" and maybe give them different colors or something to distinguish from the first press. Having 6 songs on each side will likely lead to some compression and may not sound as good as the original does.
