Well Lou Lam's first move was a great start to their 'rebuild'. Trade 5 prospects, one who is NHL ready (Beck), for Grabner... I guess Lupus needed a buddy to stay injured with all season. If only their shit performance reflected ticket prices, they're still insane. But that's the point of having Babcock and Shanahan and Lou Lam, when the team is garbage bring in more hockey world celebrities like the team is the panel from American Idol and dummies still show up. They were absolutely atrocious last year and then they traded one of the best scorers of the last 5 years and replaced him with only a coach, how does that equal this insane hope and positivity people now have for the teams future? Mind boggling.

Bright Eyes on the People's Key tour (surprisingly) in Toronto. One of my most hated venues, worst audience I've ever had to stand in and shitshow drive to and from Toronto. But the performance just absolutely blew me away. The amount of time/planning/effort that went into that set, how on every member of the band was and how perfectly executed everything was has always blown me away and stuck out in my mind. They are one of my favourite bands and I had seen them before but particularly the version of Lua they did (a song I'm impartial to) with just Conor and Nate and this crazy lighting is burned into my mind forever. I also have high hopes for seeing The Tallest Man on Earth in one of my favourite venues in September.

I've been in the 212 game for a while now but this 412 popped up a couple years ago with speakers i love/were hard to find so I snatched it at a great price. But between my VOX AC30 and my Sovtek with a 212 I built it was never getting used. Made some money on the sale too, hadn't planned on selling but a friend made an offer I couldn't refuse after using it a bunch of times for gigs.
