This is my first time listening to this band. First two tracks are odd. Third one i started to get into but not a huge fan of the literal storytelling. I'll give it a few more tries though.

What the hell is wrong with you that you're so turned off by opinions that differ from yours?. I said I think this record is priced to high and you start jumping down my throat.

no. $60 is not okay for import vinyl. 
 
people were complaining that the price was $60 as if the price they'd have to pay was $60. 
 
I said it was the price of the import, and the domestic price would be cheaper, so people could calm down. Unfortunately, $40 is still ridiculous.

there's no reason a double LP pressed in these kinds of numbers should ever be over $25. 
 
People can defend the band and try to shut up disappointed fans all they want, but the simple fact remains...
 
Whatever amount of profit is being made from these, could be made from increasing the quantity manufactured and decreasing the price.

Remember when you had to send a check and a mail order catalogue in the physical mail to Epitaph and wait 4-6 weeks before you'd get Offspring's Smash CD in the mail? Entire cities would crumble underneath the weight of our micro-managing, impatient teeth gnashing.

Of the many, many, many times I've seen Brand New live and of course been involved in VC and other boards, one truth is very clear: Brand New fans (at least 99% of them) are an insufferable bunch. They take overzealous fanaticism to whole new levels bordering on making me hate the fuckin' band.
