I just gave a co-workers kid my old Aus Rotten and Behind Enemy Lines CDs. Along with a bunch of other awesome older punk CDs and vinyl. A month or so back I picked up the BEL albums on vinyl and will do the same with Aus Rotten when I find them cheap enough.

I got into Vinyl for the same reason all guys do. Chicks dig the 12"s. In reality I started around 13 when vinyl was cheaper than CDs. I'd usually buy hardcore albums on vinyl and more pop punk on CD. Hardcore I'd always want to sit down and listen to where pop stuff I'd like listening to when riding my bike or when I got older was better for listening to in my car. As I got older I moved away from music almost entirely and would almost exclusively listen to music in my car so CDs were the only thing. So all I would do is pick up CDs. About a year or two back I repurchased Propagandhi's "Todays Empires Tomorrows Ashes" on CD for the 6th time. That made me realize I'm way to careless with CDs. (Something I perhaps should have learned after the 2nd or 3rd time buying it but meh) A big part of what did get me hooked on vinyl again was hunting around searching for some rare mid 90s stuff that I loved. Specifically finding The Strikes "A Conscience Left to Struggle With Pockets Full of Rust", I mother flipping love that band. So it turned into a whole deal of trying to create a collection of must have albums. A smaller part of the reason I got into Vinyl is quite honestly resale value. I'm a pretty cheap guy when it comes to some things. So downloading an album for 12 bucks always just seemed crazy expensive. Purchasing a Vinyl Record I have something that I love and I have something that holds some resale value. Most of my records are non variants with little value but I purchased for 10-15 bucks and I can sell them for 5-8 bucks if I ever need some cash.

So whack that they refused to give you half off everything in store?

I've been debating one of these for a while. Actually been thinking about getting a couple different ones. While this is doable myself I'd rather just pay someone a moderate fee to have professional looking job. After paying for materials is it worth the 35 ish dollars to pay someone to do this for me? Absolutely. I have the Murder by Death box and it's awesome looking and is adds a nice aesthetic element to my living room / record corner. Something like this is no different than buying a piece of art to hang on the wall. I'd love to have a Spazz box done, an Avail box done and an Elvis Costello box done. (maybe a Code 13 7" box) It's a matter of personal taste, I personally think these are an awesome way to take your records and keep them functional (meaning not in frames on the wall, still listenable) and turning them into ways to decorate your Vinyl area.

Haha, not 10 minutes ago I was there and it was in stock. I decided to wait and think over the decision to purchase. Choice made apparently.

Of $200 in two different orders I am getting a grand total of 2 items. Breakfast Club Soundtrack and Kimbra. Meh happy about both items. Not trying to defend the backwards assed way they handled RSD I'm still pretty happy. Shipping was still free although both orders were well below the $50 minimum for free shipping. (thats how it should be but I've had other companies add shipping on if items aren't in stock and that brings me below the free shipping minimum) They aren't a vinyl seller, they don't understand it, but meh it's another source to have a chance at getting records.

I just traded off my brothers Bronx so I'd love to snag that for him. If you want anything RSD related let me know otherwise I can paypal you the money.

Does anyone know if the signed posters are marked anywhere or is it just randomly inserted. Someone mentioned that the UPC on some says Colored Vinyl and some say Hard.... Signed Poster, is that the case? My UPC says "Hard..." Poster does that in actuality mean anything?

Theoretically couldn't they just manually edit the quantities down to 1 per order. I just want this posted in the next hour and a half or so, so I can have a shot at it. Won't be disappointed if I can't get it, I can get Wildlife @ Hot Topic with the half off deal now.

My store had a 5 or so of the Preteen Zenith records available for $20. As of today. Middle of the week I'll check to see if I have extra cash, if I do, I'll see if you still need one.

I assumed I missed out on this but now I might be able to snag a copy of Wildlife. Is there a chance this still goes up tonight? Or is tomorrow now looking more likely? (If anyone knows)

I think I counted 25 ish copies of the Townes Van Zandt at my local store. If that is out of 500 then damn.
