Nice on the KS8000. You should be happy with it as long as you have reasonable expectations and understand that no tv is "perfect," even including the OLED. I absolutely don't recommend to drop $3k+ on an OLED at this time. I certainly wouldn't and didn't. I'm thinking about getting a 4K Samsung player down the road. The HDR from the 4K blu rays is really impressive from what I've seen in the store (testing on Samsung, Sony, and LG TVs). I'll have run dual HDMI out however because my current AVR doesn't support HDCP 2.2 even though it does support 4K pass through. Bleh. The PS4.5 is rumored to support 4K BR although nothing definitive at this time. Definitely not worth it if you already have a PS4 as the game development isn't supposed to change at all in the foreseeable future. Tardy report back with your feedback on the tv, I'm curious to know what your thoughts are.

The KS8000 would be one of my recommendations as there isn't a world of difference between that and Samsung's flagship 9000 series this year but the price difference is pretty substantial between the two. I would also look at the Sony 65X850D as I find the backlight uniformity to be slightly better (one of the things Samsung LEDs have always struggled with) and I personally prefer Sony's Triluminos color processor to Samsung's Quantom Dot. As a related aside, I just bought a 65EF9500 OLED to replace my 2013 Samsung 55F8000, but it hasn't been delivered yet as I'm working for the next week straight. Very much looking forward to it.

I understood everything they were saying and still had trouble getting through it (but I still made it to the end). I cannot, for the life of me, understand why there was so much fucking hype around this movie. Great acting, set and costume design do not in any way make up for a lack of a captivating plot or multi-dimensional characters. I found it to be boring as shit.

After a few times listening through, I finally picked up both the deluxe from the band and white version from Melody Supreme. Cannot wait to have these in hand.

The only shitty thing about all of this is not so much the deluxe price -- it's obviously marked up a shit ton but people will still buy it -- but the fact that $40 is the new norm for a basic 2x LP from waxwork. Mondo doesn't even gouge as hard on their basic releases. I knew when they were going to offer subscribers a "discount" that it wouldn't actually be a discount.. They just mark the releases up to still make the same amount of margin, and now they make even more on their non-subscribing customers. That, to me, is shitty.

Posting to update -- still getting the issue where browser doesn't load mobile version on iPhone on both safari and chrome. Happens when a window is closed and reopens, honestly it seems kind of random: sometimes it will load the full version instead of mobile, when it does it's hard to get the mobile to reload. have to either closer the window, or the app, clear cache and history, disconnect from wifi, etc. in order to do it. Becoming extremely frustrating. Not asking for an entire redesign, but can you guys PLEASE add a mobile version button at the bottom like the old boards had?

Actually, I just cleared all history and website data and seemed to have fixed the problem. There's probably some cache leftover from the old site that was causing the issue. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm on Safari on iOS 9.3.1. It transformed for me one time on the main forum menu, and then went right back to full version once I clicked into the main boards. Can't get any subforums to transform. It would be helpful if there was a link at the bottom like the old boards to switch back and forth.

Posting mostly as a test, but also to say the update blows, mainly the lack of a mobile version. I use mobile most of the time, so for now I'm going elsewhere until this thing is easier to navigate.

Finally had a day off so I went and saw Green Room and I absolutely fucking loved it. Jeremy Saulnier killed it yet again. If you are a fan of the style of his other films (Blue Ruin, Murder Party), do not miss your chance to catch this (especially in theaters)!

I dunno, eventually jimmy has to abandon his own identity and adopt the saul one, the tape could just be the beginning of that story arc
