  1. changed my name a little while back https://www.instagram.com/records_and_toys/ Take a guess what's on there
  2. Not so much a purchase as I acquired these from my work for next to nothing Audioquest GO-4 speaker cable replaced some older blue jeans cables in my set up
  3. https://www.discogs.com/user/yanquiuxo/collection?layout=med It's purging time again. Send offers my way, and have at it. Thanks.
  4. Just sounds like your typical everyday case of seller's remorse, right down to the terrible made up story about the girlfriend wanting to keep the records
  5. Good advice but also be prepared to take 80% less than what you paid.
  6. Yeah, it's definitely not too high. The bottom of the TV is about 3 1/2 FT from the ground (eye level on the couch) which is ideal for viewing comfortably. I've had days off where I watch a few movies in a row and it's definitely not uncomfortable to watch even for extended periods of time. Also Tardy I feel you on the clutter below the TV, my plan is to eventually get a legit piece of furniture to house the components and center channel and move the expedit to the other side of the room. For now though, it works. Also, more pop art cat pics incoming
  7. Not much has changed in my set up but haven't posted in here since I moved somewhat recently
  8. Nice dude, congrats on the recent upgrades. That's a nice sounding system you have. Next step is to upgrade your amp and you'll be set!
  9. Yeah, it sucks when people are asking extremely high value for records, huh?
  10. What console are you on? Newegg still has the Xbox one version for 29.99 randomly so I'd jump on that if its yours
  11. Got a couple extra copies from my work for less than cost, 20ppd in the US. Let me know! As of now these are spoken for. Thanks!
  12. Holy shit, did this guy ask if you shipped his record before he even paid for it or a deal was arranged? grade-A LOL
  13. Your amp needs servicing. Could be bad board connections, pots that need cleaning, or any number of issues. Either way you aren't going to be able to fix it yourself unless you know how to take it apart and service it.
  14. As a heads up I have a couple extra copies of the revenant I got from my work (not B&N) for slightly less than cost if anyone is interested. 23ppd in the U.S. Not sure if black or color they are still sealed but whatever the US retail version is
  15. Not sure what a dude's intentions would be to come into a thread called "cleaning your records," a process that has been proven to improve sonic quality of record playback and prolong said quality over longer periods of time, and stir up shit by proclaiming that it's overrated. Just plain bad trollin'
  16. Your concerns are valid, speakers should not be on the same furniture as your turntable
  17. ^he wouldn't be able to use that because the receiver he bought doesn't have any pre outs. Since the four speakers are in the same room, it is considered a single zone of audio so those amps would not be the best solution for him. Even though he wants the capability to disable 2 of the 4 speakers, he wants them all to play the same thing. That's why a stereo amp with an A+B switch would be ideal
  18. You have an MM cart so you don't need to worry about what wildcall mentioned unless if/when you decide to try and MC cart. Again, there's a beginners thread on this forum, I recommend to read it and do more research on two channel audio in general.
