  1. my only RSD purchase is hilariously....Linkin Park. I enjoyed this 12 years ago as a guilty pleasure and i'm sure it'll be a guilty pleasure today.
  2. $43 though on pearljam.com . Might wait for Mad Season to hit amazon.
  3. soundstagedirect has Mad Season and Linkin Park up. Use code RSD11 for 11% off. Free shipping as well. Sorry if this is old news. EDIT: It's old news. Scott on page 14 should get the credit. Consider this a reminder.
  4. i can't bring myself to pay $70 + intl shipping for this. I hope they'd just release an LP already.
  5. this is hilarious. i was in BR, LA last year the week of RSD and googled a place to go. That store was insane with some of their prices.
  6. damn I don't have it. i can give u the money to buy a copy. LOL
  7. if you find it on an online store anywhere shoot me a PM. I'll do the same.
  8. if anyone see's Chvrches and don't want it for themselves please grab me one!
  9. My favorite release for RSD is UK only If anyone over there has an extra they'd like to part with please PM me. I posted this a few weeks ago in the "Pick this up for RSD" but got no hits. Trying on this side. Thank you!
  10. got my Loser edition w/ postcards from Amoeba today. You guys weren't kidding about how great the packaging is. Never owned this on vinyl before so this is pretty cool. "The District.." always brings me back to winter '03.
  11. "I'm Not Sayin" is worth the $10 alone. Great cause. Looks awesome in red.
  12. ^^ that guy is a journalist. does all of the music booking for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon too. So i'm sure his news is legit.
  13. i just ordered from CD Universe. it said "Backordered - ships in 3 to 7 days". Are those getting cancelled?
  14. Finally caved and ordered a copy w/ postcards from Amoeba on Friday. $32 no taxes and free shipping. Great customer service from them too.
  15. makes me feel more hopeful about finding it for close to retail in a little while.
  16. i'll be another annoying "old" fan. I've always realized that Jerry was the writer but it still feels false without Layne. His voice is what drew a lot of people to the band and in some sick way his life made the music and lyrics more legit. I'm glad they finally get to tour and I'm sure it sucked wondering if he would show up to the studio every morning. I have no issues with them going on and I think Duvall is great but for me personally Layne's absence is too big. It would be like PJ without Vedder, Soundgarden without Cornell, etc. Sometimes the frontman becomes the band. The last album and this song just feels like a tribute show to me. My wife and I went out and repurchased AIC Unplugged on April 5th and blasted it all the way home. Good times.
  17. i just ordered it the other day so I havent' gotten it yet. That sucks if it's everyone. Your description sounds like every song is like 1.5x fast or something right? So not like Alvin and the Chipmunks but just sounds off? Without being an engineer or anything I would think it would be the mastering yeah. Maybe I can cancel. This thing is already getting hard to find so i jumped on it but it's worthless to me if the songs are all too fast.
  18. can anyone else confirm that the pressing is sped up??
  19. I have such a low number in this "fanclub" but that's the only reason for staying a member. But then again I don't think membership # will ever matter with their ticketing. They copied Pearl Jam's club right down to every detail but one is an arena band playing to 20k and the other plays to 2k if they're lucky. Some stuff just won't matter.
  20. I'd really appreciate it if any UK folks could pick me up CHVRCHES - RECOVER or the rumored Eddie Vedder picture disc.
