  1. This was one of my first favorite metal albums in high school and I've been waiting for it to get pressed for years. Couldn't be more excited, holding out to see if any variants drop before I order!
  2. Surely someone has MP3s that they want to share with us fine folks who didn't have VIP tickets...
  3. Does anyone have a lead on that Covers EP they put out in the past month or so? I'm dying to hear them cover We Didn't Start the Fire.
  4. I just spent the day in Philly working on a music video shoot for the song After the Party. So stay tuned for that coming in the near future!
  5. I sold my copy of this years ago, I'd definitely buy it if it got repressed though.
  6. Ignore this post! I accidentally commented with misinformation, sorry!
  7. Hey all, so I'm trying to thin some stuff that I don't ever listen to out of my collection. Most of this stuff is listed on discogs too, but I'm selling it for cheaper on the boards and will make deals for combined orders. Prices don't include shipping (which is $4 for the first record and $1 for every additional album - or free if you order over $40 of stuff) or Paypal fees (which I'd like buyer to cover unless you want to pay as a gift/Venmo. Also I will only accept gifted/Venmo payment from established users with some positive feedback on the boards). Thanks and please PM me if interested in anything! The Ataris - ...Anywhere But Here (Black/Yellow Swirl/1000) - $5 The Ataris - Blue Skies, Broken Hearts...Next 12 Exits (Black) - $10 The Ataris - End Is Forever (Red/Yellow Swirl/1500) - $8 Or buy them all for $20! 8. Got then gold from one of best friends for Christmas. #49
  9. So here's my collection up to this point. All of my tattoos are from different artists, a lot of whom are from different parts of the world and were traveling near me. My right arm is (mostly) color and my left arm is (so far) all blackwork. My first tattoo was from Alex Zampiri with a quote from Millstone: Then I have an anglerfish from Tomas Garcia: And a carousel horse from Ivan Soyars which was inspired by a line in I Must Belong Somewhere by Bright Eyes: And a burning house from Noel'le Longhaul: And a heart dagger from Emi Lynn Holler: And a two-headed swan creature from Zox Svetorovich: And a lightbulb with peace lilies from Andy Robinson. This is the only one with a really deep emotional meaning; on my parent's first date my dad brought my mom home several hours late and my grandmother was pissed. So, on their next date, he brought my grandmom a peace lily plant as an apology. When I was a kid I remember watching it grow larger and larger over the years. My grandmom died last year, so this was a memorial piece for me to remember her by: And a famous flash cat from Katya Krasnova: This crazy acid spider from Chimu Grigio: And finally (to match my avatar) the radio from The Brave Little Toaster from Adam Perjatel (the only picture I have of it its still wrapped in tegaderm):
  10. Very cool, I'm going to Phil in April for a rose! Also I have 10 tattoos but I've never posted any in this thread. Might have to post some later..:
  11. Yup, Theodore played on that one, Joey Castillo played on Keep Your Eyes Peeled and maybe one more. The rest is Dave Grohl Like Clockwork defined my life when it came out. I was absolutely obsessed that entire summer. Stoked for new QOTSA!
  12. I was super into New Again for like 6 months a couple years ago. I don't listen to it often anymore, but it has some fucking great jams. It's a shame Matt Fazzi didn't get the credit he deserves for it, I like him way better than John Nolan.
  13. Oh, also I've been really into Hard Bargain by Emmylou Harris lately and I wish that had a vinyl release.
  14. Listening to this song for the first time right now and I'm literally laughing out loud. I'm a Linkin Park apologist through A Thousand Suns but the last two albums were horse shit and this is one of the dumbest songs I've ever heard.
  15. I missed out on tickets to the record release show tonight at Kung Fu Necktie when they went on sale Monday and was mega bummed about it all week. So, my girlfriend found a friend who did get tickets and had them send us a picture of the entry stamp on their wrist. We drew it on ourselves with a sharpie and snuck in and it was a fucking incredible show. They played a ton of new songs and I screamed my fucking brains out. Top 5: 1.Lookers 2.Tellin' Lies 3.Midwestern States 4.Black Mass 5.Charlie's Army
  16. Mine wasn't red and I talked about my opinion on the sound quality a few posts up.
  17. Completely obsessed with this album, I keep listening to it over and over. That said, I'm listening to the vinyl with headphones right now and its definitely an average pressing at best. It's all that I expected from an Epitaph pressing, (I've had a couple really wonky records from their catalog and this doesn't have any serious problems like those) but ultimately I do wish it was better.
  18. Listened to this album 4 or 5 times since I got the download code with the record at the in-store yesterday. So fucking good, absolutely everything I dreamed it would be.
  19. How was DEP? Saw them in Philly both times they came through in the fall and they were awesome.
