Scott Walker has a new album coming out in december called Bish Bosch. Vinyl preorder is already available at different places. The price is a bid much, so I hope the thing dont look so cheap as The Drift. Or they just want to cash in easy money.

Is it actually possible that the preorder price will go down significantly? Usually when preorder is opened so early @ amazon (before the official press release), they just want to be the first to get the preorders in, and just in case they max out the preorder price and will let it down after.

In such cases Im more worried about the damages such a big box might get during overseas. In my experience, the bigger the vinyl package, the more f... up it will get during transit.

So, throughout the years I have noticed that when using Google I cannot find all the records that are actually available at different distros. Is this the result of how the websites are made (Flash based) or what? For example, for years I was looking the following two records (these have been out of print for a while): Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh Nile - Amongst The Catacombs of Nephren-Ka And stores like pervertedtaste.de and noprayer-records.com have had them for a long time (I bought the last Nile copy though but they never did show up in the google search. Right now, for example, Im looking for the Daft Punk TRON soundtrack and the Social Network soundtrack but with no results. My gut feeling tells me that they are available somewhere but Google just doesnt show them. Any thoughts?

Late to the party: what a great soundtrack I cant believe I missed out on it when it was freely available.

If you cant find something in the internet that supposedly became available recently, choose the "created in the last 24 hours" (or whatever the spelling is in your language) at google search options and you will definitely find it.

I have never ordered their albums from their site directly, only from amazon.com or ebay.com. Just logged in at their site and the shipping to europe for one 2LP is 21.88 USD. For two 2LP-s its 35.44 USD. For three 2LP-s its 63.15 USD. And these are the cheapest shipping options. No wonder they are out of business - no one out of USA would never order from them anyway.

Weight and anti-skate issue.

I read from amazon.com that the CD clips. Anyone else heard clipping on the vinyl version? I have some mp3 version of it right now, no clipping on it, as far as I can tell. Havent listened to it with big speakers though, only headphones.

I have encountered very different examples, a 180g records which weighs 170g and a "regular weight" record which weighs also 170g.

They are probably fixing something, Ayreon is gone too. The second batch was listed wrongly in the first place - different prices, but all records had the same description and colour.

Got mine today (from amazon.com). Very happy with it.
