I'm just worried that since it's lower watts it might not be as nice sounding? But a 20watt Marantz probably sounds better than a 50w Sony bought from Sears in 1996..right?

I can get one with a wood case for $140 local in pretty awesome shape. Is it worth it? Would it be better than my mid 90s Sony receiver. Any known issues?
