heads up, I just picked this up in the wild. I knew it was supposed to come out over a month from now so I was shocked. Knowing Captured Tracks I thought it would be late but turns out they're extremely early this time.

So basically it's the same track listing as the 2xLP boot that came out a few years ago...

Had to order from bullmoose. Anyone else feel like this should have been the sophomore album from Neon Indian instead of Era Extraña? He lost me on that last LP.

The white 2xLP is great. The black single LP boot is lackluster. Plus with the double you get the Tremelo EP so there's that.

I don't know how, but my friend got her copy yesterday at an FYE. She showed it to me and it looks fantastic. It's a glossy gatefold with a huge insert full of pictures.

My fav so far is Lost My Head There. Normally if a song has a really nice melody or groove, I tend to think it ends sooner than I'd like but this is just long enough.

"Vaporwave" musicians typically don't put too much information about themselves out there. It's a pretty anonymous genre. Saint Pepsi is the exception but now he's a pop star so there's that. All I can tell you is one of the masterminds behind 2 8 1 4 runs Dream Catalouge and his other project is called Hong Kong Express or something. Never really listened to that project much.

This feels like the perfect blend of Halcyon Digest and Monomania.
