Troy plays bass
IndieGoGo to press Sherwood's debut album, Sing, But Keep Going. This is a wonderful record. Hopefully this does well and they do the other two full-lengths too.

thedannychang
Sherwood was one of the most underrated bands. The songwriting was incredible. littlebistro

thedannychang
Random question, but was anyone at their show at the El Rey in LA in June 2005 right after this album came out? The bill for that show was This Providence, Sherwood, and Daphne Loves Derby (incredible show). A 14-year-old me was there with my mom while we were on vacation. thedannychang
Pretty sure 'Myspace Records' wasn't their best choice. In retrospect, no. But, MySpace was at its peak during that time and was the online hub for all artists. They probably thought they would have some invaluable promotional/marketing behind them. Unfortunately, I think the label was just mismanaged and the MySpace brand quickly faded into oblivion.

I saw this tour in CA but I think it was at the glasshouse, not the el ray. Definitely an amazing show, but my favorite is when they opened for waking Ashland. I loved WA, and while We Shot The Moon has some good stuff, only a couple songs really measure up to the WA catalog for me. llamaface
corey.
Haha I forgot about Waking Ashland until now, I had their first EP that I got on Smartpunk when I was like 15. About to pledge for the 2 pack record deal. woooo
