Anyone ever see anything like the silver Orange?

i just pulled this out again the other day. i hadn't looked at it in a while and it is pretty frickin' cool.

i've never seen another record done quite like it. it is really heavy vinyl, maybe even more than 180g.

anyone know if this was a really special kind of pressing and/or how it was done differently than the usual color vinyl?

just curious.

nice pics. i tried taking a pic of my copy and could never avoid the glare. i actually think it is a picture disc because, if i recall correctly, there aren't any actual "labels" on the it.

as someone else mentioned, the Mars Volta "De-loused..." is pressed the same but without labels. Supergrass did a gold version for their 7" for "Late In the Day". i used to have that but i think i sold it.
