afireinside7444
So who is into nice manly wool/knit sweaters? Since it is getting cold enough to be late fall here in Michigan I busted out one yesterday. I stumbled onto a catalog for National Geographic last year at work and saw they had very nice wool sweaters and was intrigued. In late summer they had a few on clearance so I got a nice quarter zip and this summer I looked again and a few more are on sale. I think I am addicted and I want more! This is the first one I got: http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/1/1/2180-norwegian-quarter-zip-wool-sweater.html Got this in green: http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/product/clothing/men-s-clothing/sweaters/donegal-walking-sweater This one my wife hates but was so cheap and nice I had to: http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/product/clothing/men-s-clothing/sweaters/men-s-irish-donegal-tweed-sweater tvham
tarzioo_
I love wearing sweaters. I may get static shock wherever I go, but it just reminds me of how awesome I look in a sweater.
McCandless
The best bit about fall/winter is the fact I can get all my sweaters back out. I bought so many in the sale over summer for this very moment
afireinside7444
Where do you buy yours? I think I am spoiled by the Nat Geo ones with quality and weight. Most stuff in stores short of a few hundred dollars is just cheap thin garbage.....
Guest
I'm trying to find matching holiday sweaters that would fit me, a man, and a dog. Anyone know of any websites selling something like that?
Hairy Potter
I got some okay ones at Old Navy last year. A bit itchy but good for the low price. I just wear a long sleeve shirt under them and I'm good to go.

Anyone know of any websites selling something like that? What if you found a solid color in all 3 sizes and then bought 3 patches and sewed them on? Guest
Oh I like that idea! I could bust out my nice sewing machine. I might just ending up buying sweaters that don't match but are holiday themed. I do love sweaters though! Always feel snuggly as heck in them. I really just like a fall wardrobe as a whole, layers look good on everyone!

Can't wait to see frank in his little sweater
atticus
I love sweaters but they are so unforgiving on chubby dudes.... Maybe I'll use winter as motivation to get my "sweater body" back in full form. Kinda like the ladies use summer as a excuse to get in bikini shape. bossdj26
i'm a big sweaters guy...i have a ton handed down from my dad and collected from thrift stores over time you can get some really nice stuff from cabela's also for not too bad...american eagle also surprisingly has really nice stuff but they stick that obnoxious logo on 90% of their clothing so it's really hit or miss
cbbrew22
Nothing sounds worse than a wooly sweater right now, it is so hot in southern California, and never really cold enough to merit wearing one. I love sweaters but they are so unforgiving on chubby dudes....Also this jtcohenour

tarzioo_
Speaking as a woman, most of us are too busy looking at the awesome sweater to care if someone is chubby. Don't let something like that stop you from wearing sweaters and looking awesome this winter. Women like confidence and you gotta flaunt it. Guest
Lots of women also like chubby men, so sweater on men, sweater on.
IanRees
Yeah, no sweaters any time soon for me. Shorts, tank tops and flip flops until Christmas is in my future.

tarzioo_
Lots of women also like chubby men, so sweater on men, sweater on. Agree! Most women do not care if a guy is chubby. Im certainly not bothered by it one bit.
IanRees
life must be rough for you. its not quite as hot as where you live but this heat and drought is getting pretty annoying.
carryonkid
My favorite thing about the end of summer is dusting off and donning my fall wardrobe. Cardigans and sweaters are easily my favorite things to wear.
steventangent
I've been slowly ramping up my sweater game (despite being a chubby dude!). I think I look pretty good in them, especially over a dress shirt and tie. A few years ago, Meijer had chenille sweaters on clearance for $7. When I finally figured out how to wear the thing and really make it look good, it started falling apart. I haven't been able to find a similar one for less than a lot of money. Oh, if only someone would invent a time machine so that I could go back and buy extra discounted chenille sweaters...then I would look good going further back to kill hitler. atticus
The ladies on this board are seriously the best. I will never again think twice about flaunting my chub in a badass sweater. Cold weather, do your worst.
TheGhostOfRandySavage
I think I look pretty good in them, especially over a dress shirt and tie. Every day I don't have a funeral at work. I'm a big cardigan guy. I have a reeeeeeally awesome super chunky cardigan that I need to put new buttons on because I lost them over the years. For whatever reason I have a tough time rocking just a regular crew or v-neck sweater. I dig a toggle and a cowl neck though for sure.
