PO: United Nations - United Nations (Reissue - TRL) - July 10, 2015

BTW anyone know if theres something hidden in the long "empty" groove on side B? I realized that rather than being flat it does go on until the center of the record, but didn't have 15+ minutes to wait and find out. I tried queuing it in several places and didn't hear anything but don't know....

The cash register sound.

I was under the impression that only black and white variants were released as the deluxe edition for the repress. However, Discogs is showing a "colored" variant that I didn't have any idea about. Does anyone have any more information on that particular version? Is it a single color, randomized, or what?

Hmmm. Honestly, since the photo is of a sealed record, it could just be the white one. The only difference we can see in the photo is of an additional barcode. That barcode might just be from whatever store sold these and used as a way to say "white" is a color. There's only 19 people that say they have that version, which sounds like a store just sold 30+ of these.

Not sure what's the best way to solve that mystery on Discogs. I can see in the edit history that people have asked twice: https://www.discogs.com/release/15063994-United-Nations/history#latest

Maybe best bet is just to request a merge and one of the 19 people would have to stop it by presenting an actual photo of the record. Technically, no discogs listing is supposed to exist without photos of the media itself, for this exact reason.

EDIT:
Yeah I'm thinking that even more now. Here's the page on Temporary Residence, apparently these haven't even sold out. https://www.temporaryresidence.com/products/trr241?variant=23800731139

Towards the bottom says "LIMITED EDITION COLORED VINYL (EDITION OF 1,085): SOLID WHITE W/ CORRESPONDING WHITE & GREY LP LABELS"

So yeah, some store probably just printed a barcode for what the website said.

Nice investigative work my friend. Thanks.
