I had it shipped to my office, as I do for all vinyl, and the office is closed on weekends. I hate new release Friday. I wish Matador would at least let us download MP3s now that it's streaming. The 1st LP sleeve would not come out of the jacket. The sleeve was glued to the jacket at the gatefold. I used a pocket knife to separate the sleeve from the jacket. It was a mess. Had to separate it with a knife but still ended up tearing a small portion of it. With that said, album is fantastic. No rips. this is the way to go. the glue ran vertical on the inner edges of the pockets closest to the middle. once pried, sleeves came out easy. unfortunately i figured this out after ripping some corners like others have mentioned. timsimmons Posted September 26, 2015 Author Share Posted September 26, 2015 Just open up the gatefold and start prying up the inside seam, by sliding your index finger along. Only about 50% of my 2 seams were stuck so it was easy to unstick. After you pull out the inner sleeves, then you can reapply pressure to the seam to seal the outer sleeve.
