Shitty Rambo
San Diego/Carlsbad don't have much of a scene, specifically for punk. Lots of shitty Sublime knocks offs though.

kidamnesiac
Forget what anyone else in this thread has said about burritos. If you are ever near San Diego the ONLY place to go is Lucha Libre in North Park. Get the steak and shrimp California burrito. You're welcome. I also recommend hitting up a Belching Beaver Brewery tasting room while you're in the area. Spin Records in Carlsbad is cool for the guy going there. BuzzersonKillwell
I don't think either of you guys are veg or I'd suggest potato tacos at Pokez in San Diego. My favorite meat joint is Tacos El Gordo which is a 20 minute drive south or so. Spin is a good call, that's a fine store.

avery
http://www.pizzaport.com/grog/whats-on-tap/ good call, my father-in-law lives in carlsbad so i go here once a month for pizza and beer. i also get beer at the stone brewing tasting room in oceanside. and i get california burritos at roberto's in encinitas (i ask for guac instead of sour cream). and occasionally, i'll drop into lou's records. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So my plan is pizza, taco burritos and maybe finding a local bar to watch some hockey
IanRees
and maybe finding a local bar to watch some hockey good luck, those are few and far between that far south.
avery
good luck, those are few and far between that far south. there was a sports bar in north county where a handful of kings fans would gather to watch hockey. i never went, but i used to see a thread about it when i went to lgk more often so such a thing could exist... looking around, if it's what i think it was called (stadium sports bar) then it's closed now though. so maybe you're right, lol. IanRees
The only place I could remember watching Kings games at when I lived down there was in Carlsbad at Matt Hensleys (Flogging Molly) Flying Elephant but that's closed too
