topher
So I keep reading nothing but terrible things about 4MWB. I own their Scott Walker reissues, and I actually thought they sounded pretty good, and the packaging is really nice. I need to pick up these 70's Miles Davis albums, especially Agharta and Pangea, and I'm leaning towards the 4MWB pressings simply because they're the only recent issues that use the original Japanese art. Am I gonna be disappointed? Probably? Thanks.

NapalmBrain
Their sourcing is questionable, I've heard recent stuff is better, but I can't recommend it. I think you are better waiting on OG copies IMO, be patient miles surfaces for fair prices. I know they don't cover these albums yet, but the sony/legacy and mofi reissues are really good
Twistedshabazz
I have some of the scott walker represses on 4 men. They sound good
topher
All dully noted. I'll probably price original copies for the time being. Sadface.
somethingvinyl
I've found some of the later Davis' LP's really reasonable. I'd hold off and keep searching.
Benny Blanco
either buy the OG pressing (which on 70's Miles isn't expensive) or hold out for the Mofi releases (which for the record are superb and well worth the extra investment). chunkrock
Dark Magus is pretty good but yeah I`ve not heard anything good about the Miles reissues they`ve done.
caninesapien
I've only heard bad things about 4MWB but I have the Anne Briggs s/t from them and it sounds fine to me.

JumpingBean
Why are you even considering 4mwb when Mobile Fidelity has such an amazing Miles Davis series out right now? Most of them are better than the originals (and cheaper too). jackholexxxx
