oakland
I talked to Cedric yesterday and he said the vinyl for the new MV record is still going to happen, although they're not sure who will do it. In his words, "The record's not done until it actually comes out on vinyl." Good man.

roadmonkey
I'm am so hoping for something better than thier past few albums. I dunno though nothing after Deloused really grabbed me
chiefwahoo
In the meantime, you can at least buy the single http://www.normanrecords.com/records/95905
oakland
The album is quite good. This time John Frusciante and Omar split guitar duties. On the last record Omar wrote the parts, taught them to John, and John played them in the studio (all but one song). The new record is pretty intense. There are some shorter songs with better hooks. Technically it 's pretty amazing.
cj
im excited... ive loved all of their albums... mostly because it doesnt make me feel cooler to trash bands with insane amounts of musical ability
AsleepOnRocks
I'm am so hoping for something better than thier past few albums. I dunno though nothing after Deloused really grabbed me I've got to agree on this, although both of their albums since De-Loused have had a good track or two, I don't think either of them are anywhere near as solid as De-Loused was. I've got really high hopes for this new one though.

Even if you don't like a band, that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't awesome at what they do.

dante3000
I can respect what this band does but I do not, in anyway, dig their music.
brammyg
Frances The Mute was good, but the first time I listened to it I fell asleep because there's no music in the middle for about 15 minutes.

killyourfase
The Volta is the shit! De-Loused was amazing and might not be topped, but that band can't write bad music. I'm still stoked for the new one.
