I have the LPKIDA 1st press of kidA and the subsequent second UK parlophone press. The 12" beats them both. I dont even talk about the capitol pressings, not worth a dime, throw em in the garbage. Pretty odd. is it? havent got mine yet. *oh wow, it is apparently. this is great news. The mastering of this album is pretty much as good as it gets. Seriously, the recordings on this album are so well presented. So open and not squished to death at all by compressors. CANT WAIT TO SPIN THIS AT 45RPM ON 12" WOOOOOO Edited October 20, 2016 by Cloudsbelow

I remembered you posted earlier, but didn't remember what you had compared the new cut to. and yeah, my Capitol Kid A is garbage. Always felt that way. Cloudsbelow
Hey, sooooo I have three copies of OK computer. one I know is the 97repress. the other two are EXACTLY the same except 180 gram. The only 180 gram uk listing on discogs has mentions of "warner" on labels and parlophone in the wee box beside barcode.. these have neither. They are essentially the 97 repress but 180 grams. help, what do i have.. PS.. not new, spent an hr trying to figure this out.. make me feel stupid, please. Do they all have the same dead wax inscription? Is the 97 jacket spine wider than the other two? Cloudsbelow

cobannaboc
Anyone else been getting the emails from Bullmoose saying the Amnesiac release is "delayed indefinitely"? A little confused since people are seeing these in the wild... Got my Kid A copy and it sounds great!
kannibal
I bought an Amnesiac at B&N last night. (20%+10% off for those sleeping on the membership), so they are out there. The cover doesn't have the drawing on the front. It's identical on both sides. It has a "Made in NA" under the barcode, but everything else seems to match the EU press. Sonics were decent, but I'm breaking in a new cart, so I can't judge fairly. Noise on disc one was out of control, though, Nonfill, distracting pops and clicks all over. Disc two was better, but not flawless. Side one has very quiet music, so unless it magically improves overnight, I'll be exchanging it.
