KNARF_NY
Check out this record that serves to carry forward Adam Yauch’s eternal message of world peace that’s celebrated on MCA-DAY–an annual tribute event honoring the life of musician & humanitarian of the legendary Beastie Boys. We’ve seen glowing records & die-cuts done simply for aesthetic reasons, but this marks the first time a Glow-in-the-Dark record inserted into a Die-Cut jacket creates a message– to keep MCA’s memory alive. And it’s red glow instead of the common green. Regardless of darkness, it "Can't, Won't, and Doesn't Stop” shining–just like Adam Yauch. That's why it's called the Eternal 7”. INFO ABOUT THE RECORDING: ADAM YAUCH FOR WORLD PEACE (Live from the U.S. Capitol)On June 15th, 1998 Adam Yauch along with members of Congress, human rights activists and musicians gathered at the U.S. Capitol to stage a rally in support for human rights in Tibet. Preserved on this very limited Eternal 7" is Yauch’s message of world peace from that day. This record has not and will never be commercially produced or sold. unknown pleasures
Because when you truly want to honor someone's humanitarian accomplishments, you do it with gimmick vinyl. (Next up: the MLK liquid-filled single.) stl_ben
xylem1
Do they even mention the contents of said vinyl? Is it just a gimmick?
ksleap
I think with the $9 shipping Adam will personally deliver it.
