nick69
Oooohh! That was totally unexpected! Snatched myself the Blood Red and Gold Merge one! To be honest, that deluxe is kinda lame and overpriced.
hammertime
Their worst album, but still pretty great. I got a clear Toxic Holocaust album off Discogs recently for a not-horrible price ($40), the seller wasn't Relapse, but it came from Relapse...hmmm... While this is definitely not the worst, I'll steal @DOMAN127's response to the worst Mountain Goats release and just say "Sophie's choice"

As previously stated, sophie's choice, but Spiritual Healing probably gets the least love/playtime from me. If you're more of a thrash guy, it's going to be the early stuff that's your favorite, More on proggy stuff or technically complicated/interesting stuff? Probably late discog. I think this album is their most musically interesting album of theirs from an instrumentation standpoint. Guitar work is it's own thing (and one of the reasons Chuck is one of my favorite guitarists), bass is awesome, great vocals, and the drummer is from another fucking planet or something. Maybe he has a third arm and leg?
Dominic_
Is there a cool Death banner or poster or something? I could totally go for one to fill my empty wall.
nick69
Until Human, Death sounded just like any other early and influential death metal band. Nasty and thrashy. Since Human they started shining though and creating their legacy. Suddenly their music became more complicated, more melodic and more passionate even. poweredbytrust
